Very thorough, explained things clearly, discussed next steps with rationale for each

Condescending, spoke to me like I was slow. He was impatient and disdainful. Seemed in a rush and irritated by my mere presence as a patient. Made jokes that made me uncomfortable and left me feeling disrespected and uneasy.

He is so kind and cares about his patients. He is not about fluff. He will Tell You what you need to hear. He is the best.

I went to see Dr Paras because I thought I had acromegaly due to a pituitary tumor. He told me I didn’t have acromegaly because “it’s too rare” and I “didn’t look like someone who has acromegaly”. He told me the tumor was harmless and to leave it alone. I sought a second opinion, at a hospital in Manhattan. Turns out I DO have acromegaly and I had surgery to remove my tumor. I’m now being treated with medication for my acromegaly, which would have shortened my lifespan if it had not been treated. Dr Paras is a terrible, ignorant and negligent doctor. Stay away unless you want a misdiagnosis.

Terrible terrible experience. I will certainly never recommend this dr to anyone. I want to spare them the agony. His office has no idea what customer service is. To simply schedule an appointment or get a refill is an impossible task. From incredibly long telephone holding times to no follow up and/or call back, it's all just terrible. If you take daily meds like synthroid prepare to expect to lapse and not be regular bc of this dr's office and no follow up or return phone call policy.

Awesome Doctor. His staff however leaves much to be desired. Attitude and rudeness is to be expected.

Dr. Paras is a wonderful Dr. He take the time to listen and is such a warm and caring person. He has really helped me tremendously.
