No-nonsense professional who knows their stuff
Only had a single visit with Dr Jeter so far but she is very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest science. Mind you, she essentially delivered some potential bad news to me and I might disagree with some of the things she said - BUT she is an evidence-based doctor in her field and a clear communicator who will tell you step by step about your options. She also answered all my questions, and I had a ton of them. She was open to the information I myself had found online and shared her professional opinion on it in a neutral manner without making me feel inferior for being a non-doctor who likes to read medical papers online but lacks the context to fully understand them. She’s not the warm and fuzzy chatty kind of doctor, she just gets to the point. I trust her to make treatment decisions with and for me.

Needs improvement
Dr. Jeter doesn’t read intake forms and prescribes meds that are unsafe. Her office either doesn’t relay messages or she can’t find he time to return them in a months time. I was told if I was “in that much pain you should go to the emergency room” which I found odd coming from a ‘Pain Specialist’.

Outstanding Physician
I’ve never seen Md who is as compassionate as Dr Jeter. From the first time I saw her, she never fails to respond to your needs, concerns, and sentiments. She takes time to figure out what’s been going on with your pain and case. She carefully study how she can help you with your pains. She makes sure you understand her plans to help you. I just had a procedure done. And as everyone else you have concerns and you felt nervous. Before she did the procedure she explains again and again even if she did it already she still take time to explain again and even said I can cancel if I don’t feel like doing it or if I am not comfortable doing it. You will never see in her that she is judging you of your concerns as much as possible she will explains all over again to you and make sure that she understands you. If I am to rate her she is more than of outstanding MD she goes above and beyond for her patients.

And extraordinary physician and diagnostician
Dr. Jeter and I have been down some long roads together in the last eight years. In my difficult, and sometimes zebra-esque health history with both a serious neurological disease and numerous spine surgeries, Dr. Jeter has cared for me painwise both pre-and post-op, and helped me easily titrate down whenthey were no longer needed. But Dr. Jeter is so much more than someone who assesses pain. She has also been my go-to when other symptoms have arisen that have been difficult to explain. Her ability to hone in on potential causes and offer excellent solutions, be it in the O.R. or in the clinic, has been my saving grace many, many times when other doctors have fallen short. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr. Jeter. She's incredibly smart, truly listens and genuinely cares. I have moved almost an hour and a half away, but I'd never consider changing dr's.

Dr. Jeter talked a good game but over promised and vastly underdelivered. Her office is very sloppily run. Its nearly impossible to get a return call. The guy who does her scheduling, Jose, is particularly egregious in his incompetence. I was in severe pain and was to be scheduled for an epidural. He took a whopping 9 days to submit for the authorization to my insurance company and it took several calls including one from my insurance company for him to respond. I'd asked to speak to Dr. Jeter when I was in pain crisis and she didn't bother to call me back. She seems to have very little regard for her patients. I opted not to get the epidural from her and found a much better doctor who listened and responded quickly.

I saw Dr. Jeter while she was a fellow under my physician, Ian Carroll. She is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She is very knowledgable, very sympathetic, and has a wonderful "bedside" manner. I am 76 years old and she is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.
