Dr. Cindy Mi, MD

Even though Dr Mi was very professional and I believed in her abilities to diagnose my eye problem, she was very rough with pulling my eye lids and when I mentioned it hurt, she didn’t respond or apologize. She was curt in her diagnosis and I had to ask questions when she should have explained the diagnosis instead of rushing through it and not explaining it well. I felt she wanted to move onto the next patient as quickly as possible. It was not a good outcome and she didn’t help to relieve my anxiety. Would not recommend her if you want a doctor that is empathetic and a better communicator.

I like Dr Mi. She’s kind and competent. Office staff is always easy to work with.

Little communication, almost a cold indifference. If you’re the type of patient that wants explanations from a procedure and the plan going forward. Find someone else. Very disappointed by the lack of information.

Had a good experience 2 years ago with the initial visit on a weekday. However, I felt very rushed attending her Saturday clinic this year. No introduction, no mention of my name. Left without knowing the overall impression of my eyes--had to assume that everything was ok after the dilated exam. The exam itself was ok and not particularly rushed. Perhaps another visit on a less-busy weekday would give me a more positive experience?

The provider was courteous & professional. He demeanor was reassuring as my referring provider had me very worries regarding my condition, but she was calm which made me calm. Toward the end of the encounter, I did have a sense that she wanted to get going. Being in the med field myself I found this understandable. What really blew me away is she called me after 17:00 the same day to discuss my case further. For that, I give her a high rating!

Outstanding response to an emergent medical issue - Dr. Mi was highly competent, professional, knowledgeable and communicative. She prioritized my treatment, explained why it was necessary and described the proposed treatment clearly. Dr. Mi followed through efficiently and with concern for the discomfort the procedure required at times, suggesting breaks and showing an empathy that was reassuring.

I am satisfied with my treatment. Dr. Mi was very professional and did an excellent job explaining the treatment and expectations.

This doctor really knows what she is doing. She answered all of my questions thoroughly. Its unusual to find this level skill on this side of the mountain.

Waited for more than half an hour for the doctor and got no apologies or anything close. Didn’t get advice on anything besides this doctor seems want to leave the room sooner than later. She would not suggest an annual check with them either and encouraged me to stay with my regular eye examination. I’m not sure if it’s alright, but she seems doesn’t care about her patient at all.

I have seen Dr Mi for numerous visits, two operations and a procedure over the past year. I have always found her to be very professional and competent. I think initially I would have appreciated more in depth information than was provided. Since then I've learned to be more prepared to ask questions which Dr Mi readily answers.

Dr Mi's attitude was so bad. She was in a hurry and wanted to walk away after seeing me for only 10 minutes, and kept wanting to leave the room and not answer any more questions. This time is my first time to do eye surgery. I really want to know how to recover my eyes soon. I was so mad!! So unprofessional . If you want to care your eyes , I Would strong recommend not make an appointment with her.
