My child had a genetic disease that didn’t have a cure but had a treatment and she refuse to give the treatment. Instead she kept telling me to just let my child die . How can you tell a mother in her face to just let her child die . She’s dealing with children but she has no heart or sympathy

awful. just don't . dr chiriboga misdiagnosed my daughter and put her on years of meds and never listened when we told her it was not working she kept increasing the dose. she tested her for a different condition and said it was negative. years of suffering and of cause Dr. chiriboga's negative diagnosis was wrong. we were never seen on time up to 3 to 4 hours of waiting. her nurse practitioner is ridiculously rude and incompetent. no one listens to concerns or even tries to resolve it. she has never ones over years of treatment return a call or even do what she said she would. it is appalling that she is working at NY Presbyterian she is only interested in making appointments only we even tried to address her staff and she actually called back to yell and when we told her how bad it was she assured me she was going to call back and of course she never did she of course has always available appointments so save your child the grief and look for a real doctor

Dr Chiriboga's office is extremely poorly run and highly disorganized. Not only will you wait long periods of time on the phone waiting to speak with someone, but your messages are almost never returned, and if you do a get a call, there is always confusion. Expect to wait at least one hour to be seen after your appointment time- they are never on time for visits, nor apologetic and it never improves. Your child will be seen as a number. If you are looking for someone to truly care about your child's condition, offer solutions and give true patient care- this is not the doctor for you. There is no follow up until you call them. There is not a strong doctor-patient (or even family) connection. If you are looking for an organized, compassionate, detailed neurologist who will offer solutions to help your child, I would not recommend Dr Chiriboga.
