I have had Dr. McQueen as a primary care physician for a few years now. She is friendly, approachable and a good listener. She is the kind of Dr. I like, who will provide you with options to allow you to explore your healthcare the path that works for you. If you want a Dr. to 'tell you what to do', vs. being a participant in your wellness, she treads lightly there. However, if she feels strongly - you should do something, she WILL make that decision and provide sound path to follow including a referral, if it's necessary. She also has a sense of humor, and talks to you like a person vs. a 'patient'.

I would highly recommend Dr. McQueen. She was extremely thorough and did answer my questions. I feel I got great treatment and did not feel rushed.

I have been years searching for a Dr who treats the patient as much as the illness, and happily discovered Dr McQueen during a sudden serious illness. She struck me at 1st as dry, aloof, but never judge a book by its cover. She is 100% there, very compassionate, she listens. Not like the now-a-day text book Drs who get you in and out in a 15 minute visit by numbers. She is a good communicator and has a healthy sense of humor also. I feel like a human being being treated by her, very happy.

Dr. McQueen is very bright and compassionate. She might appear a little removed/aloof as she did to me my first visit as a new patient; 2+ yrs ago. But I think she's naturally reserved and humble. When I needed her a couple of months ago for an emergency - she was there for me 100%. I was so grateful for her understanding, wisdom, compassion. I left her office hopeful and reassured. Finding the right Primary Care Dr. is increasingly difficult. She is IT for me.
