Dr. Clayton Lane, MD

In June 2021 Dr Lane declared I had a torn rotator cuff and I needed surgery. After surgery he revealed it was not a torn rotator cuff but a bone spur and some arthritis which he 'cleaned up'.My shoulder pain never went away after physical therapy and injections. My last office visit he rudely told me not to come back until I was ready for shoulder replacement surgery. I recommend getting second opinions as Dr. Lane was quick to diagnose, incorrectly, and seems to prefer surgery over treatment.

He was in and out in seconds, told me what he thought he couldn’t help. I told him what I thought it could be given my father had the same problem. He didn’t even consider that that could be the issue. I have had hip pain for years and am just trying to figure out why and what the problem could be, So I can try and fix it. Basically he acted like he didn’t care. Also horrible bedside manner

Everytime we come we have no waiting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will only see Dr. Lane for my child.

Dr. Lane was awesome. He’s a great listener. He’s confident, explains everything well and encourages and answers all questions. He also has a great “bedside manner.” He makes it clear that he wants to help you. I would recommend him to anyone and I haven’t even had my surgery yet.

Post op visit for broken humerus bone & torn bicep, in addition to checkup for knee—torn meniscus. Dr. Lane is very through and a great surgeon. I still have limited movement in my left arm, but thanks to him I am doing considerable well, under the circumstances. Needing an MRI to determine the severity of the meniscus tear.

First visit with Dr. Lane. He was very thorough and professional. Identified my problem right away and put a plan into place. Would recommend him to family and friends. Staff in office was very friendly and engaging.

Dr. Lane took fantastic care of an issue I had with my knee. He gave me options to try rather than going straight into surgery. He is an excellent physician and I would highly recommend Dr. Lane as your orthopedic surgeon.
