Maybe he’s ok
I wouldn’t know since this is my first visit, it is 1.5 hours after my appointment time, and I am still sitting in the waiting room. Not impressed so far.

Wouldn't Answer Questions
Dr Rice and his staff were unwilling to help me understand their recommended treatment plan for my daughter with disabilities. I had questions and they wouldn't take the time (or the common decency) to help me. I found his bedside manner to be lacking. As a parent who appreciates medical professionals who treat my child and myself with respect, and who take my concerns seriously, Dr. Rice was not it.

My father had a visit with Dr. Rice for a growth in his thyroid gland. Dr. Rice blew him off and didn’t seem concerned. Today, we learned from another local ENT that he has a Gade 4 tumor and will be needing surgery.

My appointment time was respected; I got to the office a little early to fill out forms, but they were ready for me. I was in the examination room within 10 minutes. His assistant, who gave me her name (but I didn't write it down), came in first to get the lowdown on my condition. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and upbeat. Dr. Rice came in within a few minutes; he was obviously qualified and very helpful and understanding. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

After two other ENT docs were unable to diagnose my 90 year old dad's ear pain (severe), we were referred to Dr. Rice. Unlike the other docs who immediately diagnosed it as an ear infection, he dug deeper and was able to give us the real diagnosis which has required much care to maintain. We are so thankful for Dr. Rice's going out of the box, so to speak and properly diagnose my dad's problem. Could not say enough nice things about him!
