Dr. Clifford Siegel, MD

He prescribed medication that caused a 60 pound eight-year-old boy to double his weight to 120 pounds in three months. He has shown no remorse for the health consequences he inflicted upon this child. A child who will have man boobs the rest of his life and a lifelong struggle with obesity. Did the medicine help? No. Were there other options? Yes. But the parents weren’t told that. They put their trust in a man who’s enriched himself off of others suffering. The cycle needs to stop.

Not a good experience. This guy misdiagnosed me and began pushing pills from my very first session. He did absolutely that actually helped my anxiety. If anything, he caused more anxiety. He's one of those stereotypical MD's that make the environment so uptight, judgemental and stuffy. I tried to tell him about the abuse my now ex was putting me through and he just nodded. I wouldn't trust him with an adult, there no way I'd force my child to be in a room alone with this man. Keep looking!!! I've since found 2 amazing providers who actually made a difference in my life. This guy just wants to push pills and steal your money, without helping you.

Dr Siegel is a very caring doctor. He seems to genuinely care about his patients. I think if you were suffering from life's challenges he could easily help you out.

Not worth your money.

My daughter was diagnosed with a mental condition. We took her to Dr. Siegel because he is the best psychiatrist I know of. It took him only a few minutes to realized what was going on and prescribed some tests. Turns out she has epilepsy. If not for Dr. Siegel she could have died in a car wreck.

I would not recommend Dr. Siegel to anyone. He spent time in small chat, he repeats himself, he scheduled an appointment without us knowing about it and billed us for missing it and then threatened to take us to a collection agency.

My daughter is an impulsive runner & with this Dr. she stays in his off. The last therapist we were seeing she kept running off. She rellay likes Dr. Siegel. I would recommend him because he is offering more then just medicine to help her. Plus there just are not a lot of child psychiatrists out there. I tried Childern's Hospital but it's been 3 months since her eval & no one has contacted us. There's always a 2 or 3 month waiting period for a child psychiatrists.
