Dr. Gooch is an excellent Doctor but does not explain things to you as well as he should and his bedside manner is not that great. The waiting time is usually a lot longer than expected. All this being said I will also say I would trust him with my life and have done so in the past.

Dr. Gooch is probably one of the best neuromuscular disease specialists in the nation. He gave me a firm diagnosis of an extremely rare disease - I have been searching for answers for 3 years. He was extremely knowledgeable, had great expertise in the single fiber EMG and NCV/EMG tests I had, and spent a lot of time reviewing my very complex medical history and discussing it and the diagnosis with me. It was well worth the wait to get in to see him. I finally have a great doctor!

We were very pleased with Dr. Gooch. He really listened and didn't rush my appointment. He seemed genuinely interested in figuring out my situation and getting me feeling better. He's also very experienced and excellent at what he does.
