Dr. Clyde Glenn, MD

They put my appointment on the wrong day AND time from what was said to me on the phone. When I tried to reschedule and figure out what happened they cut me off. I asked if there was a waitlist as I was on a time crunch and needed sooner and I was cut off and told they wouldn’t be taking new patients before then. I’m very understanding as I make appts for my work and things happen but I at least am apologetic and try my best to accommodate. Don’t work in mental health if you’re rude and make your patients cry. I would hate for someone who was extremely depressed to deal with that…what if that had been their last straw? Horrible.

Dr. Glenn is a well-educated psychiatrist and has always treated me with respect. He is very calm and quiet and listens to everything I say without judgement; however, he rarely looks me in the eye. He types non-stop on his laptop during our sessions, likely documenting/scribing/e-writing Rx refills. He’s also a preacher and a very great man, but [professionally] he has way too many clients for his small practice. I enjoy talking to him, but his office staff is notorious for being the worst office staff of any Mississippi psychiatrist. I was warned by other psychiatrists about his staff, but I still chose him over all my other psych options because of his understanding that patient’s should have complete control over what medications they take. I know my body better than anybody else ever will. He understands that. He’s been very understanding and on-board as a team player for the two years that I’ve been seeing him. Overall, Dr. Glenn is a great doctor!!!

Outstanding psychiatrist and staff with a new top-caliber facility. Extremely knowledgeable of all medications and their pluses and minuses. Very minimal wait time...10 minutes or less. Highly recommended!

Great with patients. Listens. Wants to get you back to as normal as possible. Very relaxing music all over the office. Things set up for a relaxing mind while there .

The BEST unknown physician in MS. I was referred by a friend. I did not know of any psychiatrist in the local area. I will refer friend, family and alert other providers of his practice.

Rude, egotistical. Talks down to patients, doesn’t listen, gives outdated medical advice. Yelled at me, put words in my mouth, and said I was untreatable because I don’t like stimulants for ADHD. I said I don’t like stimulants because they don’t work the same for me as other people. Made the asinine comment, what about other people? Umm, they actually work for other people. Listen, don’t assume. Opposes cognitive therapy for ADHD, doesn't try newer drugs, yells at staff around patients. Awful

I took my mom to see Dr. Glenn for her Dementia. He is a wonderful small spoken man, my mom can't tolerate loud noise or strong voices. I didn't even have to tell him that. I loved how he broke it down for me to understand, and what to expect. What an excellent doctor I felt so much better after our first appointment.
