Terrible and creepy bedside manner. No compassion. Seemed to be expecting a confrontation as soon as he came in. He walked in, partially drew back the curtain and stared at us in silence for several seconds before declaring he was there to administer the COVID-19 swab test. He didn’t introduce himself ever and even expressed a kind of irritation at my mom’s upbeat attitude. The whole experience was bizarre and my mom was traumatized. She panicked when the swab became painful and she felt like it was ‘breaking through something’. He didn’t stop when she started crying out and she reacted by pulling his hand away. He grabbed her wrist and threw it at her. The nurses were excellent and their manner was in direct contrast to the doctor.

His bedside manner was the worst I have ever experienced. I came to the emergency room in a severe amount of pain, due to an embarrassing condition. Not only was Dr. Croshaw less than gentle with me, but it also seemed as though he wanted me to feel embarrassed. That was apparent because of his tone, body language, and in the way he spoke to me. My friend who was in the room with me also made note of his poor attitude. The ER nurses however, were wonderful to me.
