Dr. Colleen Maxcy, MD

Doesn’t care about patients whatsoever. Will dump you in the middle of care she will throw you under the bus just cause. My opinion is she must not be trusted. TOS is from a patient of more than 2 YEARS. go somewhere else, anywhere else will be better.

Dr. Maxcy is an incredibly bright, caring and thorough provider. As a medical provider myself, my expectations for others are extremely high; she has never failed to far surpass those expectations. In addition, her medical staff are friendly and efficient.

Dr Maxcy has been an important part of my recovery. She’s so caring and professional. Her staff treat us like family. My husband is also her patient. We would recommend our family and closest friends to Dr Maxcy for pain relief. She’s an excellent Dr.

I went to Dr. Maxcy after moving to Tampa for work, to continue my care. She talked me out of doing TPIs like my previous physiatrist had reccomended, saying they'd be "excruciatingly painful" (they're not-- my new doctor did them, they're barely a pinch) and tried to push me towards an expensive out of pocket option I couldn't afford and wasn't indicated for my condition. She then wrote me a prescription but said I had to come in every single month regardless of whether I needed a refill, saying it was "the law" (it's not). They took a urine sample and sent it to a lab that my insurance didn't cover (why didn't they send it to quest??? I don't know!) Then when I called after receiving a large bill, they said just "not to pay it". I asked to speak to their supervisor as that didn't make sense and I shouldn't be responsible for this and they said they'd call back. They didn't. Dr. Maxcy is a terrible doctor who's goal is to get every last cent out of her patients. Horrible!

Dr Maxcy and her staff are professional and friendly. My Physical therapist referred me to Dr. Maxcy for a very painful shoulder. After a MRI was done she determined I would do well with a PRP procedure.And I'm happy to report I have a pain free shoulder.

Have seen Dr Maxcy and Dr Panagakos, both are wonderful, interactive, fully articulate their recommendations, and scheduled my procedures quickly. Would whole heartedly recommend both!

Got an infection from her shots and was in the hospital.

I was in a car accident a year ago and seen many Dr's, orthopedic surgeons, what am I orthopedic surgeons recommended mrs. Maxcy to treat my thoracic area I got to say she's one of the best doctors I've met I will definitely continue seeing her which I have stopped seeing my other doctors recommend her to anyone and everybody she's one of the best and knowledgeable very caring listens well

Dr. Maxcy is amazing! She doesn't just try to bandage the problem with medications, she tries to get to the root of the problem. Dr. Maxcy does lots of research and offers different treatment plans, making the patient feel in control of their health care. I have and would recommend Dr. Maxcy to anyone needing this type of care. She is an excellent physician!

I love Dr. Maxcy! Her personality and bedside manner is very refreshing! She is realistic and amazing! She has a great background that makes her very informative on ways to reduce pain without medications and I love that!

Dr. Maxcy has the knowledge and surgical experience to properly diagnose condition and explain in a manner that the patient can understand. My surgery was perfect with little pain and scars afterwards.
