Fantastic Doc!
I am so grateful to have Dr. Brown looking after me! I have multiple autoimmune diseases and spinal problems and Dr. Brown is always compassionate and professional. Contrary to some folks' reviews, his staff has been wonderful every time I've been there. I highly recommend anyone needing a great rheumatologist to see him!

I am a patient of many years. I find Dr. Brown professional, thorough, and kind...an important component when dealing with intense pain. Staff employed by Dr. Brown proves to be competent and on task, especially his PA. I travel nearly 2 hours for my appointments, that's how much confidence I have in Dr. Brown's expertise. From being swollen and in pain my first visit to now having a preventative plan which allows me to navigate my life with minimal discomfort, he's the best. I so appreciate his good work.

Calm and caring
If you read the other bad reviews, they are 95% about his staff. I agree that the staff is terrible. There is a standout, male nurse, that is exceptional, knowledgeable, and personal. If he could replicated for the staff, there would be no problems there. The other staff are nice and caring to me, but I think he may be understaffed. I noticed a change in Feb 2023. I know the clinic was shut for a death in his family. I think the staff might have slacked while he was gone. Dr. Brown himself is wonderful! He doesn’t rush. He answers all questions. He’s calm and personable. I find him to be very knowledgeable and caring. He has personally returned every phone call I made during Covid. The wait times are long on occasion, but that’s bc he takes the time to answer all the patients questions and give explanation. I’ve not ever had problems with refills. I hate that Dr Brown receives low ratings strictly for the staff. There should be another platform for that. I would highly recommend!

Rude and completely unprofessional staff. Hours long doctors visits. I was refused to be seen at my appointment and will run out before I can get into another rheumatologist. The woman that is suppose to be behind the window is always rude and never worried about anything other than talking.

His practice needs to be shut down ASAP
I’m flabbergasted at how he still has a practice. They DONT answer the phone. They DONT return voicemails. They tell you to download the patient portal as it’s the “fastest way to reach us and get a response” yet NONE of my messages received replies since February 2023! They bill Medicaid incorrectly with false codes and won’t fix it. They schedule appointments for a certain date and time only for NO ONE TO BE IN THE OFFICE. They’re not even there during their business hours. I tested positive for a disorder while living in Houston and he refuses to run the same lab. I tested positive for genetic disorder and showed him the paperwork only for him to tell me “Arkansas isn’t advanced enough to link the results to a disorder” yet the lab shows the disorder and when I saw Neurology a week later & presented them with the same medical records they IMMEDIATELY sent me to the MD clinic AND genetics. He’s already been reported to Medicaid, the medical board is next! STEER CLEAR OF HIS PRACTICE

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Brown since 2006.
Most time I have ever had to wait to be seen by Dr. Brown was an hour and then I felt like I was rushed through my appointment and I wasn’t happy with that. Other appointments run at least thirty minutes past scheduled appointment time. I am happy to be under his care most of the time, but it’s been months since my last visit with him because he had a medical condition he was being treated for and also during the same time Dr. Brown moved his clinic to the Doctor’s Building on University Ave. I’ve not been given his new address or a phone number to call to schedule a appointment. This building was the same place I first meet Dr. Brown. As others have stated Dr. Brown goes through office staff and nurses more than any of my other doctors.

Dr.Brown is a caring Doctor, and his staff is very polite and wonderful. I had a few issues at first but his new staff has gotten everything together for me. I have been seeing Dr.Brown for about 2 years now, im very upset with the views you people are leaving. Some people just love to complain and put the blame on someone else, the staff has been nothing but good to me. All offices have flaws but the reviews on here are lies. THANK YOU DR.BROWN AND STAFF FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL VISIT, THE LAUGHS AND HOW COMFORTABLE YOU MAKE ME FEEL.

Highly do NOT recommend
I have seen this doctor and my daughter has as well! I recently have called his office several times and no one ever answered the phone. My daughter had lab work done that showed she was anemic, he wanted to repeat it in 2 weeks which she did and it’s been over 3 weeks and no one has called to let us know the results and I have called several times and no one ever answered the phone! He is very quick with his visits and I never seem to get answered as to what is going on with me. He has a huge turnover in staff. I was recommended to him by a good friend but I will never recommend him to anyone. He told me I had fibromyalgia and I told him that it’s not that, there are things going on with me that is more than just fibromyalgia so I asked my PCP to do specific lab tests and turns out I have gout and most likely Lupus so yeah I will not be seeing this doctor again and am currently researching other rheumatologist that can actually help me and not be so nonchalantly about my care!

This doctor definitely should not be called a specialist in my opinion. His knowledge was so inadequate. I went and saw him two times and decided I was wasting my time and I sure didn't want to see him again. Please find you another doctor.

I went to see him asked him not to prescribe medications that would make me sleepy. When I told him the medication he prescribed me made me sleepy and costed me my job. He laughed at me. Personally his bed side manner was a joke. Wait time were horrendous and you might find one or two staff that was a joy. He was the pain to go see and did not listen. Not worth the time or money.

Dr.Brown is a wonderful rheumatologist! Because of him and Tim Hodges diligence, care, compassion, and respect I finally have an answer to what’s been plaguing me. I’ve struggled for years with being ill and will now begin treatment that will hopefully make me feel better! He is very matter of fact but still caring! I’m so glad I chose him and was accepted as a patient!

Dr. Brown listens to his patients and does the necessary testing to get the correct diagnosis. He is caring and polite. The nurses and office staff are professionals at their positions. I have no complaints and have even recommended him to others. He’s a good choice if you want someone who will listen and find out what you have going.

I had an appointment with Mr. Brown for 5 months. The day before my appointment I receive written notification that his office is closed Thanksgiving week so my appointment is now rescheduled for February. The letter was poorly written, photocopied on a machine that was running out of toner, and was cut unevenly with scissors. It is a good thing I made 3 appointments with different rheumatologists so I have a backup plan. Be warned.
