Dr. Constance Anton, MD

I am long overdue in expressing my gratitude for the excellent psychiatric care that I received from Dr. Constance Anton 30 years ago. I was in dire need for help in getting my life back after developing PTSD in Vietnam (1972). I can tell you my recovery was not easy. It took someone with extraordinary skill and knowledge of psychiatric principles to guide me (without me knowing) through the adjustments that I needed. Those of you who are listening and contemplating psychiatric therapy please know that I wholeheartedly believe that Dr. Anton’s expertise in treating patients with psychiatric problems ranks high among the best. I am one happy camper knowing that I made the right choice in selecting Dr Anton for my therapist. I am also happy knowing that I think of Dr. Anton as a friend.

**In all honesty, I would give this provider 0 stars if that was an option as she doesn’t even deserve 1 star.** Constance Anton has been treating my relative for several years. Not spending more than 10 minutes with my relative every month, she has her on a medication for depression. My relative has paranoid schizophrenia and suffers from delusions. The depression medication Dr Anton prescribes her is doing nothing to battle her delusions. My family has repeatedly called her to voice our concerns and 90% of the time, she won’t even call us back. She does not care at all so please consider seeing another provider! Your well-being is at stake!

I have a family member that was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in 1975. She has seen various mental health professionals and for the most part, her illness has been ‘stable’. Due to the fact that many of her mental health providers either retiring or leaving a practice, my relative was put in the care of Dr Anton. My relative sees Dr Anton once per month, for a total of 5 minutes per visit. My relative has been experiencing delusions for the past several months and my family and I have been repeatedly calling Dr Anton and she is doing absolutely NOTHING to help the patient and/or our family. If you or a loved one are suffering with a mental illness, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT see this provider. Your life is far more valuable and Dr Anton couldn’t be bothered. How unbelievably disappointing. So much for the Hippocratic Oath of -Do No Harm!!
