Dr. Corie Eklov, MD

I was lectured for 10 min about the Covid vaccine. Condescending attitude. Her PA was seeing me one day for my wrist during a scheduled appt. I told her I fell the day before & had bad pain in my back. She didn't have time to take care of that! It was a displaced sacrum.

She is an incredibly condescending doctor. She has absolutely no bedside manner and no tact when it comes to discussing mental health concerns or weight-related topics. I am a grown adult, and she actually made me cry when I went in to discuss my mental health concerns. She had no care at all and instead turned the visit into a lecture about how I was overweight, and she didn't believe that I wasn't overeating. Save yourself the trouble and see literally anyone else.

I will never go to her office again! I was looking for a primary care doctor since I was new to the area. Dr. Eklov spent 5 to 6 minutes with me in total. I shared my health history and medications. A few days after my visit, I called the office because the pharmacy said Dr. Eklov did not send a prescription to be renewed. I called the doctor's office and the nurse said, 'I don't know why Dr. Eklov did not renew the prescription I'm not a mind reader!'The office didn't communicate with me the results of my stress test results and bloodwork results. I have since found a new health care provider and am so happy and confident in her care.

I was harshly lectured by her about getting the Covid vax! So humiliating and then she said, everyone in my family has taken it, including my kids. I immediately decided to never go back to her again.

I came from a different office a few years back and I was very unhappy there. I kept saying I didn't feel well, something felt off, etc. and they didn't listen. I found Dr. Eklov and she listened immediately and had ideas what could be causing the issues and ran several tests, which found a few different health issues, which could be addressed. She asked my opinion on some medications and got me on those and within 6 months I was feeling much better. She has always listened to me, told me about side effects, and wanted my opinion on medications. She genuinely cares about her patients.

I have severe anxiety that I was unfortunately on medication for. Until I got extreme depression and weaned off. The anxiety is still here and I cannot seem to bring myself in person to the doctor. Rather than be understanding she refused to refill my blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes medication, nor did she tell this until I was almost out of medication. She is impersonal, and unprofessional in my opinion. Here's to hoping I don't die from sudden withdrawal.

Dr Eklov is one of the best physicians I have had in my 67 years. I am a nurse and I become quite selective when it comes to who I choose for helping me manage my health care. Dr Eklov is knowledgeable and straight forward. She listens to concerns and answers questions.

Worst doctor I ever saw! She lectured me for at least 5 minutes about getting the Covid Vaccine. Very unpleasant! When I asked her about certain facts regarding the vaccine she said they were not accurate facts - facts that are on the VAERS website! Wouldn't answer my questions about the vaccine. No patient should be treated this way ever!
