Dr. Medina saw my husband (a level-headed, calm, smart, professional) at Moore Regional. He had been acting strangely and ended up in the er, I thought he was having a stroke. A full medical work up was done, nothing found, so a psych evaluation was ordered. Dr. Medina diagnosed conversion disorder and released him. That night, into the next morning he got worse and ended up back in the er and eventually transported by ambulance to a psych hospital in Raleigh in a full blown psychotic event!! As we were new to all of this, I did a lot of research afterwards and his symptoms were classic for Psychosis.(eventually he was diagnosed with late onset bipolar) So if I could look up his symptoms and find a proper diagnosis, I would think an educated, licensed doctor should be able to as well!! My husband never should have been released and Dr. Medina needs to brush up on her knowledge!!

I can help others find the right care by telling you to run in the opposite direction. Choose somewhere else as she currently works for First Health Moore Regional. She will hold you prisoner if your insurance allows. Unfortunately I could not rate zero stars.
