Dr. Corrigan McBride, MD

Let me start by saying that she is a great surgeon if you only want to have the Gastric Sleeve. If you are looking for a procedure that is more aggressive like the Gastric Bypass or DS, I would look elsewhere. I was approved for one procedure, and she changed her mind during my surgery and gave me the sleeve instead. (Apparently for safety reasons) On the day of surgery, she said that I could have a 2nd surgery in a few months to complete the procedure I was initially approved for. But ever since then she has been uncooperative about scheduling the 2nd part, and won't give me a reason why she doesn't want to do it at this time. Her bedside manor is terrible. One time, she was almost 3 hours late for an appointment with me due to being in emergency surgery, which I understand that couldn't be helped. But by the time she got out of surgery, she was in a horrible mood, rolled her eyes at me, and made me cry. All because she was mad that I wasn't satisfied with the surgery she gave me.

Phenomenal Surgeon. She is caring and compassionate and takes the time to listen to my concerns. One of the best surgeons I've had operate on me.

She operated on my daughter, then after 5 months in the ICU she died with a gigantic wound in her abdomen. She ignored her for 3 days while she became critical in the ICU. She started a fire she couldn't extinguish, my daughter died and her husband is now alone.

Dr. McBride has always taken care of my needs as a patient! She's also listened to my concerns and has always had my health as her number one priority!
