Too Heavily Leans on Te chnology
Had a stomach hernia repair by Dr. Emmert. Talked me into a robotic laparoscopic repair using all new 'video game' procedures. HORRIFIC pain that I was not prepared for due to the type of procedure that required inflating my stomach and bowels. Woke up screaming in recovery and was told no more meds, just go home. The surgery took a very long time to heal, left my stomach with a weird shape and appearance. My Primary Care Physician had a fit when he found out what this doctor did to me. Said it should have been a quick repair with a single small incision (not the 3 holes I got). Great bedside manner but would trade that for a good old fashion 'Country Doctor' for my surgery.
