Excellent Neurosurgeon!
After having suffered for years (and severely for the nine months prior to surgery), I was vastly improved immediately following my discectomy surgery. Dr. Hartman and his PA Maureen Hovey listened to my concerns, answered all of my questions, and followed up on my status following surgery. They have great expertise and compassion, and I highly recommend this team for back surgery. Throughout the almost year following my surgery, I have continued to improve, gaining strength and mobility, and I bless them every day for giving me my life back. I can do everything again and do it without pain! Something I hadn't thought possible. I thoroughly endorse Dr. Cory Hartman and his entire staff! If I or any of my family members ever need surgery again, I will absolutely go to Dr. Hartman.

Brain Surgery
Dr. Hartman saved my life on July 20 for my brain bleed. There was growing excessively on the left side of my head if I had not had the surgery on July 20 I feel confident another day or so would’ve killed me.

Taking spondylolisthesis seriously
Dr Hartman became my surgeon after 2 different neurosurgeons both referred me to him with the firm belief that 'he was going to give me my best outcome' with a grade 2 or 3 spondylolisthesis and nerve compression we discussed my options and decided on the most invasive option for a couple important reasons. . . Biggest of which was the natural reduction of my slippage due to laying on my back. I had lost 40% of my left leg function at that point, and he was honest that that may not return, but my quality of life would improve. I'm currently 3 weeks post 360 fusion (alif with plf) and am already in the same pain I was pre surgery, which gives me amazing hope for a future return to sport and a life lived without constant modifications.Spondylolisthesis has a lot of misinformation about it but dr Hartman was great about education without fear, but being honest all the same. Hope to never need him again, but if I do, he's the only one I'll use.

Incredible Surgeon and Team
After suffering from severe back pain for years, I met Dr. Hartman. This meeting was a blessing and has greatly improved the quality of my life. I am able to function in ways that I didn't think I would again. Aside from being a talented neurosurgeon, Dr. Hartman has the best bedside manner and personality of any doctor I have encountered. His team, particularly, Lisa and Nancy were wonderful as well.

Amazing surgeon, Amazing staff!
I needed spinal surgery on my neck and was terrified to have it worked on. Dr. Hartman's Nurse practitioner was amazing and really helped me with my anxiety. Because the hospitals were Code Black at that time, I had my surgery in a surgical center. Everything was fantastic...he did such a good job, i did not require any physical therapy! His other assistant, Nancy is also amazing. Great experience overall

Love this Doc
As a retired Physician Assistant I have worked with many Docs over the years some good, some not so much. I have also been a patient and had both good and bad experiences. Dr. Hartman performed a L4/5 Laminectomy and fusion. When I woke up the pain that I had been experiencing for years was gone. It is now 3 months later and I’m doing great. In addition I love his bedside manner. He is friendly, informative and he spent the time I needed to get my questions answered. He is a 10 out of 10!

Neck Surgery amazing Doctor
He is such an amazing doctor. After serving in the military and doing multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, etc. I tore up my body. I was a 10 out of 10 in pain after my cervical disc started pinching my nerve on my c-6 to c-7, which resulted in my right arm being partially paralyzed. Doctor Hartman put in an artificial disc called M6 Disc Replacement. I can't speak enough about the results. I have been given a second chance. He is truly a blessing.

Dr. Cory Hartman performed a successful spinal fusion surgery on me in November, 2020. I chose Dr. Hartman because he is fellowship trained in Spinal Neurosurgery and has had extensive experience in this area. My symptoms immediately disappeared and I have had a good, relatively pain free recovery. In addition to his expertise, Dr. Hartman is very personable and easy to talk to. He doesn't rush through his appointments but takes his time answering any questions you have. I felt very comfortable under Dr. Hartman's care and pleased with my experience. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hartman to friends and family.

Had a televisit scheduled with Dr Hartman. I logged on and spoke with his nurse who went on to say talk the dr was on call and wasn’t able to speak with me. She said the dr however looked at my scans and wanted me to come in to check my reflexes. It is painful for me to drive but I drove over an hour to come to the office only to find out I was seeing only the nurse and not the dr again. I expressed my indignation and that I wanted to see the dr but the nurse was annoyed at me and informed me he wasn’t available. I was furious. No wonder why insurance rates are so high they probably billed it out as two dr visits even though I never even saw the dr.

I have had Chronic pain in my back for over 10 years now. I was in an accident and had to have cages nuts, bolts and screws put in my back. Dr. Hartman inserted a Nevro system (Nerve stimulator) in my back March 2020. He was very thorough, caring, kind, knowledgeable, and it was a very successful operation. Dr. Hartman improved my life immensely . He is an amazing Dr. My pain has gone from a 7/8 to a 4.

I have lumbar spine issues from L1 to L5. After seeing two other neurosurgeons, my pain management physician recommended that I talk with Dr. Cory Hartman. After an initial office visit and examination to which I brought previous Lumbar MRIs, Dr Hartman recommended a MRI of my entire spine. It is important to understand that two previous neurosurgeons -- one a Mayo Fellow and the other at Cleveland Clinic FL -- were ready to move forward with lumbar surgery and never considered the possibility of other spinal issues. After review of the MRI results , Dr. Hartman's suspicions were confirmed and he informed me that I had severe cervical compression of the spinal cord and was at high risk of paralysis. On his advice, I elected to move forward with cervical decompression and fusion. Throughout the process, Dr. Hartman displayed incredible professional competence and heartfelt compassion for me and my wife. He is not just extremely well qualified neurosurgeon, he is a truly warm and carin

Dr Hartman performed emergency lumbar Laminectomy on 3 vertebrae and now I’m pain free! I had spinal stenosis on 3 levels progressively worsening over 5 yrs. Another doctor had recommended spinal fusion and rods fusing 4 vertebrae - the loss of mobility scared me and I put off doing anything, even getting a second opinion until it became an emergency. I wish I knew what I know now, I would have seen Dr Hartman first. Thank you Dr Hartman!
