Dr. Courtney Crance, DO

I have been seeing Dr. Crance for years. She really cares and it shows with her practice. I appreciate her thorough questions and assessment to narrow down simplify my concerns. Front office phones were changed about a year ago, and since then, getting ahold of anybody is extremely difficult.

I never feel rushed and all my questions are answered. I would highly recommend Dr Crance

Dr. Crance is knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. She listens to and addresses your concerns, and she takes the time to explain her findings and concerns in understandable terms. She is not the type of doctor that just treats the symptoms by prescribing medication, but she tries to find the cause and includes non-medication alternatives in her treatment plans. She and her staff are authentic, caring, and friendly. I am happy to have her as my primary care physician.

I've a very complicated case, and it seems to me that shears more about her patients than you'll see with other doctors. She knows who to refer you to, not only by practice, but also by bedside manner. She speaks to you in the manner that you will understand. I used to work in medicine in a variety of positions as I've worked towards my Masters degree. Dr. Crance knows this well and understands that she can talk to me at a high medical language. Medical language is hard to understand because there is a large element of Latin. Anyway, because she treats me as a person and not a medical file, and because we understand the same language, plus she takes the time that you need, I never walk away from my appointments feeling talked down to, or disrespected in any way. I love this doctor and I'm glad that I'm a bit older than she is, because this means I will have her for my provider for a long time. To this point I have been with her going on 8 years. I am especially grateful she's a DO

Dr. Crance is an amazing doctor! She has caring and compassion like doctors should! She has fought for me and helped me so much over the years I have seen her. She has made my life better and I don't feel as hopeless about my health as I once did. She is knowledgeable about current and break through medicine and medical procedures, and helps you however possible. I highly recommend Dr. Crance as a primary physician. If I could give more than 5 stars for her I would.

Dr. Crance is an exceptional provider. She is warm, caring, fun and authentic. However, the office staff executing simple tasks take too much. It is insufferable. Dr. Crance deserves a team that reflects her compassion & professional measure. Hopefully she'll start a new year with a new team.

Dr Crance seemed to be so caring & professional in my first few visits, but after recent exams she performed, I was unable to get the results sent to me after countless requests!! Her office failed multiple times to set up my radiography appt's! I think her office staff is mainly responsible, but there is NO EXCUSE for this reprehensible, unprofessional behavior! For a doctor just starting her career, I find this puzzling.

When you're standing in front of her, Dr. Crance is an involved, caring provider, but the second you're not, it all falls apart. Like other patients, I have had extreme difficulty in getting anything done with her office. They do not send records or test results to other offices, ever, despite multiple requests. My calls to update meds also go unanswered, and it takes multiple calls and messages (4 is typical) to get anything done. Most troubling, I have had their office tell me they faxed something to another provider, but the other provider never got it. I had to hand carry the original. Here's the kicker: it was stamped as sent weeks after they told me they sent it, so either they lied to me about sending it the first time, or are suffering from some highly selective technical difficulties. :-\ It shouldn't be this hard. I have spoken to Dr. Crance about this and it hasn't gotten any better. I have never had so much trouble getting care, so I am going to find another provider.

Dr. Crance really listens to what you have to say. I've never had a Doctor to listen to me

Went for mental health issues. Dr. Crance listened and gave me hope that she could help. I also have nerve issues that, again, she knew how to help. I left there feeling like I wasn't crazy and was finally going to get the help I needed. Please understand this visit was extremely hard for me to go through with because I have incredible anxiety. So to actually get the nerve up to go and tell a stranger what was going on was a huge step for me! She told me all the things she would do to help. I NEVER heard a word from her office again! I called several times to try and follow up and find out what was going on, what do I do next. I NEVER received even 1 phone call back! I even tried to make another appointment and was on hold so long that I left my number. I did not receive a call back to make an appointment for a WEEK! What a farce this visit I had was!!! I'm absolutely disgusted that I was treated as if I was non existent! I WENT FOR MENTAL ISSUES! STAY AWAY!!! SHE OBVIOUSLY DOESNT CARE

I would never recommend Dr. Crance. I filed a complaint against the Colorado Medical Board. Dr. Crance is negligent, untimely in her response to numerous tests and phone calls, and dismissive in her treatment with me as her patient. I've only been seen twice, but had a number of tests and results that needed swift interpretation. For one test, I waited three weeks without response with results I had no idea how to interpret. I've been seen for symptoms, but Dr. Crance never conducted physical exams. She showed me a textbook though. Some of my results, I've never received from Dr. Crance, who was the ordering physician. She does not send referrals on time to referring offices. They rarely return my calls and voicemails. Patient, beware, especially if you suffer from chronic pain.
