Avoid Dr. Crombie
I have Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), which is a mental disorder that makes someone obsess over a perceived flaw in physical appearance that is not observable or appears slight to others. I believed that the part of my skull that made up my forehead was deformed. I did not know I had this mental disorder when I met with Dr. Crombie. She decided to drill down my skull. I regret having this surgery. I’m afraid that my skull is now more fragile and can fracture more easily. Dr. Crombie also told me that the surgery would be minimally invasive. However, I have 3 noticeable scars on my scalp now that look appalling to me, and Dr. Crombie never communicated to me that the surgery would leave scars. I don’t like how I look post-surgery. I would not trust Dr. Crombie to accurately communicate plastic surgery results. I believe she will tell you whatever you want to hear so you can schedule surgery with her, no matter how unrealistic the results are.
