Dr. Craig Barker, MD

I’ve used him for 30 years. Back when his clientele was smaller it was better. The office staff is who I have had an issue with. They can’t get anything right. It’s this way with me , my son and mother in law . One of the desk staff is rude. All I need is my prescriptions refilled yearly or I’d switch doctor’s. Not because of Dr Barker but because his staffs lack of doing their jobs.

Doesn’t follow up appropriately on lab results. Very poor GP Practice. Has been cited by the medical board for inappropriate prescribing. Primary interest is the weight loss program, which is unsustainable and not healthy. Questionable business associates.

My family and I have been using Dr. Barker for over 10 yrs and have discovered that the service has gotten worse every year. The staff have explained to me Dr Barker does not return calls and that they are supposed to insulate him from any service issues or complaints. The staff thinks its ok to prescribe medicine that costs 800 a month when there is clearly cheaper options but the nurses are encouraged to prescribe medicines that benefit their profits with little concern to patients. So much for his christian ethics and helpful service to long tern patients. They are rude and not interested in solving issues with their patients.

It took his office 4 days to refill a prescription. When I complained he dropped me as a patient.

He is so personable and friendly. He is one of the few doctors that puts me at ease. My family has seen him and his PAs for about 15 years. He's a good judge of character, so I trust his recommendations for specialists as well.

I have been with Dr Barker for quite some time and don't plan on looking elsewhere. Dr Barker and his PA's are awesome. Natalie and Rhonda are incredible. I would highly recommend Dr Barker to anyone looking for a family Dr.

Our family has been with Dr Barker for close to 15 years. He is the most thorough,caring and knowledgeable Doctor we have been too. He has 2 of the best Physician Assistants that are as good as they get. He is one fine Christian man with a staff that is as good as you will find. We got lucky when we found him and will be with him until he retires.
