Dr. Craig Best, DO

I couldn’t agree any more with the person who left a review on Dec 2021. Word for word, I felt exactly the same way as that reviewer. As soon he as learned things were complicated with my case, he basically washed his hands of me.

Dr. Best provided me with a full verbal explanation and illustration of my condition. I felt well cared for and comfortable in asking questions and was well satisfied with his answers. He also gave me recommendations for follow up but did not push. I appreciated his demeanor and kindness. I will follow through as advised and If my problem reoccurs or worsens I will follow up with him as advised.

Very focused and well prepared. I received the information I was looking for to understand the pain I was experiencing and felt like a solution would be found.

Dr. Best was very honest with me and did all he could. He was the first and only person who told me I might have a surgical case. I didn't take that advice immediately, and he still worked with me. He runs a tight ship in his private feeling office / surgical suite. I am convinced he offers some of the best injections in the world. I won't let anyone else work on me as long as he's around. I had a procedure at northwestern and you get trainees that rush the job and don't know or care that they are hurting you.

Dr. Best is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable with him. I have made good progress with my knees by following his recommendations.

Dr. Best is very smart and very thorough. He explains things well and is very kind with his patients.

Excellent DO.. explained everything

Dr Best preformed two steroid back injections on me so far, which is a procedure I thought I could never do because of my fear. He explained everything he was going to do and told me what I would feel while he did it. He was very gentle and it was pain free. I would highly recommend Dr Best.

He was kind, he didn’t rush me. We went over all my info. I felt good about making the decision that I did.

I was sent to Dr. Best for a specialty consult from my primary ortho. Dr. Best seemed pleasant and knowledgeable until I started asking questions. I was not impressed with his detached decision making approach and somewhat superior demeanor. I think most patients like a collaborative or a partnership type of approach when it comes to figuring out a diagnosis, especially if it’s not a common one. I felt that Dr. Best just wanted to move me off his hands when he realized there is little he can do to help me. He listened to me but offered very little input in return. Unfortunately, Dr. Best, a patient’s body often fails to follow the black and white script from a textbook. I would have been much happier if he had shown at least some interest in trying to help, even if a clear diagnosis was not an option.

Dr. Best answered all my questions, explained everything thoroughly and in understandable language, and didn’t rush. He was very respectful of me and my condition.

Evaluate back pain

Dr. best spent a great deal of time with me explaining the entire procedure and how it was part of the overall treatment of my back. During the painless procedure, he explained every step before performing it.

Professional staff and a procedure explained every step of the way by Dr. Best, prior to his proceeding. He and his assistant knew exactly where they wanted to go, and worked seamlessly together. His support staff were courteous and professional as well. I was given post-procedure instructions both verbally and in writing, both easy to follow. Dr. Best had the confidence in his result that spread to me throughout the day. I did not have any of the PTSD anxiety or inability to follow the procedure considering some hearing issues I have. My compliments to Dr. Best and his team. 24 hours later I have a noticeable improvement.

Dr. Best listens and takes time for his patients. Offers options for treatment and works hard to provide better health.

Friendly staff. Dr provided diagnosis and treatment plan. Answered all of my questions. Made me feel comfortable.

Appointment on time. Listened carefully to my issues but didn’t feel he fully evaluated my symptoms. Wasn’t clear in making any diagnosis and corresponding treatments. Although the appointment concluded with a next step treatment, I left feeling a lack of confidence in the recommended protocol.

Fast and professional

Dr. Best was absolutely delightful! This was my first visit with him and I was a bit anxious about the EMG (nerve test). Dr. Best walked me through the entire process (step-by-step) which made me feel super comfortable. He was ON TIME. My overall experience was great! I highly recommend him! He will not disappoint!
