Horrible customer service
Had appointment scheduled for 10am, rush to the office to be told that I cancelled my appointment….why would I cancel after waiting 2 months! But because the assistant said I did, that she spoke to me a certain date, there was nothing I could do other than reschedule

Front Office needs compassion training
69 years old with serious pain and some memory issues.I first went to Dr Couch's office with a referral from my Dr. I wanted to make an appointment as soon as possible. The front office girl didn't acknowledge my presence. She took my referral and groaned. Then she gave it to the man in the office who also groaned. He said these drs never give us the info they are supposed to. He eventually said he would contact the dr, but was quite unhappy about it. I eventually was able to make an appointment for 2 months later. I anxiously awaited the appointment because I had some hope that my pain might be relieved to some extent. The office is 40 min from my house. I drove in rush hour and got there 20 min early. The same receptionist said you DIDNT fill out the paperwork?! You were supposed to come in at 8. I said, really? I put 9 on my calendar. She said I'm going to give you the paperwork but if they call you before you have finished it, you'll have to reschedule. This is a stab to the he

I've been seeing Dr. Couch for migraines for the past 20 years. I absolutely love him and his office staff! He listens intently to everything I have to say and then we discuss any changes to my treatment options. He knows that there is only one medication that helps my migraines and is willing to prescribe it when my previous neurologist wouldn't even consider prescribing it. If I ask to try a new medication, he is willing to discuss those options with me. He treats me like a partner in my wellness journey instead of just throwing prescriptions and more tests at me. Last year, I moved 4 hours away from his office but I continue going back to him rather than trying to find a neurologist closer to my area.

Did not appear to be interested in why I came to see him.. actually told me my vestibular migraine was not a migraine but an issue with balance .. ummm the name “ vestibular migraine“ is relayed to migraines not inner ear! Not much of a neurologist if he doesn’t know all forms of migraines!

This doctor is extremely rude and inconsiderate in so many ways it's unbelievable! He acts like he doesn't give a flip about how people are feeling when they are greatly hurting or what they think of him. I don't know why a doctor like Couch would want to be a doctor if he doesn't truly want to help people. Just money I guess, I can't see any other reason. Couch can be extremely obnoxious without hesitation. I was very shocked at his behavior! I could go on more but I will spare the readers.

I have suffered migraines for over 30 years and could never get on a plan or get them under control. Dr. Couch is the first to take the time to put me on a plan and try different medications. He is reasonable, and does not over medicate or under medicate, or order unnecessary tests. After being under his care for 10 months, my overall mental health due to migraines had done a 180. My overall mental health is 110% better because of him.

I have seen Dr. Couch for several years. I find him to be a great listener. He spends a lot of time listening to what I have to say about my condition and what I have been experiencing. We then discuss my options. I feel like we are partners in my treatment plan. He is not "quick on the draw" to send me off for needless tests, MCR's, or scans. He makes sure I understand the pros and cons of each step and what I can expect. I really appreciate his style of treatment and I feel great!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Couch?
Dr. Couch lacks any kind of drive or motivation towards new technologies and is very complacent in general. If you just want maintainence, then Couch is you man. If you want an aggressive doctor that is on the forefront of today's leading edge medicine, than you would be better off somewhere else. Dr. Couch's front office is rude and very difficult to reason with. Their accounting practices are horrible. They make mistakes they won't fess up to and promises they won't keep. Watch out for error

He has a very calm demeanor. He is quick to search out reasons for discomfort and willing to try things like physical therapy before offering up meds or surgeries.
