Dr. Dopf operated on my back 26 years ago related to severe disc herniation and deterioration. I was 38 years old. He performed a 2 level L4-L5, L5-S1 BAK Titanium Fusion anterior approach with a Bilateral hip graft. I was not an RN at the time but became one a few years later and worked at the same hospital, and was fortunate to care for some of his patients post op. He is an amazing surgeon and I highly recommend him.

He's a good surgeon, but he has serious anger issues. He is verbally abusive to patients when he is angry.

I had an experimental surgery Jan 1998 with spondaylis . He fused L4 & L5 on my back. I was about 50 years old. The operation was about 10 hours. He operated on my back going thru my belly. He was very young and did a perfect job. I am a non smoker and non drinker. I have used my back hard ,no problems and at 72 years old Its still good.
