Dr. Craig Forleiter, MD

I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in January of 2021. After weekly chemo treatments for 10 months, I had a double mastectomy. I was in constant communication with Dr. Forleiter throughout my chemo treatment and together we devised the best plan for my breast reconstruction. He inserted my expanders after the double mastectomy. All was well until 4 months later when the cancer spread to my brain. He performed emergency surgery to remove the expanders, just so I could get an MRI. Two weeks later I had brain surgery to remove the tumor. He then performed breast reconstruction surgery. He operated on me 3 times in less than a year! Not only is he an extremely knowledgeable and exemplary doctor, he's also a concerned and compassionate human being. He also constantly made me laugh through 2 very dubious and terrifying years of my life. He is part of what I call my 'Dream Team' of doctors! Not to mention, my new breasts are fabulous! He is truly one of a kind!

Top flight Doctor with an outstanding team. Dr. Forleiter explained the options for my procedure (which included an excision and a graft), the procedure itself and what to expect in the post operative period. It was made clear that this is a team approach and Dr. Forleiter made sure that I had sufficient information to make good choices. The surgical facility was clean and staffed with courteous and compassionate professionals. The surgery went as planned and the recovery better than expected. The level of care on the part of the entire team was exemplary at every juncture. At each post-operative visit, the level of care and concern remains outstanding. And most important, the Doctor's work is art. When you place your life in a doctor's hands, you should feel at ease if it is Dr. Forleiter and his crew.

I am so thankful for my referral to such a professional and talented physician. His thoroughness of examination, ability to answer questions and clarity of instruction made my procedure much easier than expected. Dr. Forleiter is a tremendous asset to both the community in which he practices and the one in which he lives. The best!

The doctor and his nurse are extremely caring. They take their time in answering all questions. Office staff is extremely efficient as well.

Great , Dr. Forleiter was always very detailed on explaining the procedure and always made me feel very comfortable that everything would turn out positive. I would have Dr. Forleiter do all my procedures going forward. On a scale of 1 to 10 he is a 10.

Although an unfortunate accident brought me to Dr. Forleiter's office, his excellent skill combined with a sensitive warm wit, resulted in the best possible experience & healing.

Loved their Covid precautions and the level of comfort they provided before, during and after the surgery.
