Dr. Craig Hanson, MD

He spent an unbelievable amount of time with me going over all my options. He certainly isn't 'knife happy' and even spent some time checking for some up-to-date research to make sure he wasn't missing anything. I would highly recommend Dr. Hanson!!!

Dr Hanson is not thorough. Did not listen to my concerns. Brushed them off. I am now scheduled for a surgery that he was not successful doing and had he listened and examined me he would have seen that. It’s hard to be proactive and advocate for yourself if the doctor isn’t going to listen.

Horrible bedside manner and personality in the exam room. Would not recommend if you wish to be treated respectfully. If you don’t mind your physician being curt and unkind, he is for you. I think his actual care is adequate, but I distrust providers who treat you this way. First provider I have ever refused to see again and am glad he is no longer practicing where I receive care.

Dr Hanson really cares about his patients. He listens to you and gets to the problems. He has been my gynecologist for over ten years.

I highly recommend this doctor to anyone having urinary/pelvic floor issues. Surgery gave me a new lease on life. Very skilled surgeon and has some of the nicest nurses I have ever encountered. Professional from the time you walk in door until time you check out.

The office nurse is so rude, quick and out the door. I had a complete hysterectomy and feel like a number, I received a call from his office after a polyp removal saying my labs came back bad!!! Who calls a patient saying that. Another in and out the door by both nurse and Dr. saying you need a complete hysterectomy and on my 2 week post surgery no one ever looked at the incisions and prescribed a progesterone that was a horrible choice and then on the 6 week check another bad script that specifically says do NOT take if you have had a hysterectomy. I requested my records and they had another patient’s records in mine! Huge HIPPA breach and he acted like oh well sorry. I will never go back there again.

I went to Dr. Hanson for a Urology visit. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He took the time to explain things, as did his staff. He may seem brusque to some, but I think he just has a dry sense of humor. I trust him completely. I also have had PAP smears from him. He is as gentle as anyone I have ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR CRAIG HANSON.

Would not recomend. Seemed angry through out my appointment. Don't know why. Did two vaginal swabs. The first was Incredibly painful. The second was fine. I am still in pain and when I void I double up in pain from the exact spot he did the first swab. First time I have ever seriously thought about writing a letter of complaint to the Indiana Attorney General.

I had an unexpected complication and was referred to Dr. Hanson, he was so caring and concerned, I could not have gotten better care. Other physicians can take a lesson from his bedside manner.

Very boorish bedside manner and no compassionate personality. Just in/out, get the job done, and move on. Glad to have found another provider.

I can't say very much about this doctor, as we only saw him for about 30 seconds... My wife had a C-section at Parkview hospital, and he happened to be the rounding doctor. He bardged in without knocking, wearing cammo shorts and flip-flops, with no identification. Car keys in one hand, cell phone in the other. Asked to see her incision in front of friends and family, asked if she was "good", and then left... I've never seen such a lack of professionalism.
