Surgery broken right ankle Nov. 9, 2022
Very disheartening.Arrogant and very uncaring. I could have died under his care. Did the surgery developed a Sesptic Infection after I went to him about my foot being so swollen and painful. I was told by Dr Mines that I did not have an infection that it was drainage after 3 weeks of surgery? Next day went to hospital and was told I had an Sesptic Infection and almost did not make. 3 months on intravenous antibiotics and 4 weeks in Rehab. I do not recommend this doctor at all. Did not care enough to even speak with me. What an error on his part.

Excellent care - compassionate doctor.
Dr Mines has taken care of my mother for years. He is thorough, kind and caring. He has supported her through her knee and shoulder replacement. He explains everything with care and always makes my elderly mom feel special. The office staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel like family.

Personable doctor who spends time with you
Dr. Mines has now treated my whole family after starting with him myself a few years ago. Not only does he spend time with you answering all of your questions about care. He is personable & you feel like he cares! I will no longer go anywhere else. Also, if you call his office and it is an emergency they will find a way to work you in. With multiple kids this makes me feel great!

My husband and I had a very disturbing experience at Dr. Mines office on Monday, August 10th. We were greeted by a receptionist not wearing a mask. When we questioned her, she said she never wears a mask at work or anywhere else. My husband and I are both over 65 and we’re very shocked to see an employee in a doctor’s office not wearing a mask. We spoke to Dr. Mines and he basically told us the virus is from nature and we should just let herd immunity take it’s course and besides the majority of the deaths are in nursing homes. I was so shocked by his lack of compassion for dead elderly that we are not going back to him. He may be a good surgeon, as his reputation indicates, but we were shocked at his attitude and stance regarding the pandemic. He is allowing an employee to endanger patients. Even though she is tested for the virus regularly, the fact she never wears a mask increases the chances of her spreading the disease before it is known she is infected.

Have had problems with my knee since the surgery. Unfortunately, I moved to another state a few months following the surgery. The new surgeon I'm seeing said the knee replacement has to be replaced and it should have lasted longer than 1 1/2 years. Dr. Mines is a caring individual, I feel he should limit the number of patients he sees and spend quality time with each one and get the waiting room back under control to meet his patients at their appointed time.
