Dr. Craig Saunders was the Surgeon who performed my double by-pass and Aortic Valve Replacement at Beth Israel Hospital in July of 2015... and I am only now, in Dec. 2019 writing to say — That Iowa farmboy is the BEST! He has a down-to-earth and professional bedside manner that truly inspired my confidence. He answered any questions I had and well, I think the world of him. Thank you, Dr. Saunders for being my Doctor & Merry Christmas!

Dr Saunders did a quad-bypass on me in December 2018. His concern and care were excellent, including giving my family updates every hour during the surgery. I feel great 8 weeks later, no complications, looking forward to a complete recovery.

Yes, I would recommend Dr Saunders to anyone who needed heart surgery. He preformed a triple by-pass on me without any problems at all! I had no pain, or any complications from the surgery and made a full recovery.

Dr. Saunders performed my aortic valve replacement over 20 years ago in Cleveland at the clinic there. I have the same homograph valve he replaced then. All I can say is Thank You so much from the bottom of my heart which has continued beating to this day because of Dr. Saunders! I have 2 grandchildren and 2 on the way. Dr Saunders was exemplary in my care He answered all my questions and concerns and did a phenomenal job with my surgery I had to have open heart surgery at Beth Israel hospital The staff was exceptional. Everyone went above and beyond making sure all my needs were met I could not have asked for a better experience

Excellent CT Surgeon, kind compassionate focused on patient and their needs. Amazing team of professionals at NBI. Everyone from the housekeeping staff to the skilled therapy and nursing staff. It is obvious the amount of dedication and education which goes into providing such an excellent level of care under Dr Saunders leadership
