Excellency is felt as soon you enter the office. Reception, room prep, Anesthesiologist and nurses, prep nursing group, loving discharge staff. Dr Laborde and his staff, all Highly skilled and professional.

I have Crohn's. Dr. Laborde has been my doctor for over 2 years. He explains things thoroughly and in terms that I can understand. He always discusses his thought process behind his decisions and gives well thought out reasons when I ask questions. If he is unsure if I'm aware of something, he asks before giving an explanation. He and his staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about their respective roles.

I found Dr LaBorde to be very attentive, answering all of my questions and being very helpful in working with my insurance to get the right medication that worked for me.

After having 2 endoscopic procedures, I was diagnosed with Barrett's esophagus in which I am required to take omeprazole (Prilosec) . Dr Laborde will not renew prescriptions without a follow up visit which serves no purpose other than to increase Dr laborde's profit margin. It is apparent that this doctor puts his profit over patients care by not renewing an over the counter medication.

I was referred to Dr. Laborde for a routine, preventative colonoscopy when I turned 50, but he took it upon himself to conduct a diagnostic colonoscopy, which did not have the same coverage under my insurance. So a routine procedure that wasn't supposed to cost me much has turned into a bill of some $750. Dr. Laborde hasn't responded to the letter I sent him, and his office would not change the coding so that my insurance would fully cover this procedure. I definitely would not recommend this doctor. He seems more concerned about his profit motive rather than his patients' best interest.
