I was admitted thru St Mays ER for severe stomach and back pain. My hemoglobin was also low and I was anemic. Hospitality consulted Dr Schultz. and he scheduled me for an endoscopy procedure and colonoscopy. There were problems that I was not completely cleaned out so had to reschedule for the next day. The next day he found several polyps including one large one. They were removed. Several days later I began bleeding pretty significantly and Dr Schultz scheduled a colonoscopy for the next day and he went in and repaired an unrelated problem. His staff was fantastic. The Dr was fantastic and for those complaining that it is difficult to get an appointment at times please consider my condition. I wouldn’t call any of my issues emergent but I was in a great deal of pain and Dr Schultz moved as quickly as possible to resolve my problems. I’m very happy with him and would have no problem referring friends or family to him. A Dr that cares is hard to come by these days and Dr Schultz does.

Was referred by my doctor to have an esophagus scope, then got a call from their scheduler: they would snail mail me the papers, I would have to mail them back (w/o return postage included), then I would have a video call 2 MONTHS later (just to do introductions?), no telling when we would finally get to the scope. My PCP managed to get me in earlier thanks to a different cancelled appointment. Was recommended an endoscopy, which was more in depth than I expected. Very expensive surgery. Doc explained things well, very friendly and candid. Only complaint is that the doc only seems to recommend name brand meds, which are very expensive.

Bogus online appointment scheduled. I was ecstatic that I could schedule my own appointment! As a previous patient, I needed advice on recent changes in my condition. I received a call from his nurse. I needed another referral from my primary care physician (patients accepted by referral ONLY) for a video appointment in the distant future. I felt as if she was doing everything to discourage my scheduling appointment. I will never return to or recommend Dr. Schultz to another person again. I felt humiliated after this phone call.

Very impressed with him and his staff. They cared about patients, good hearted people.

He has been very thorough with me and I appreciate the time to explain the procedures and the results.
