Terrible- zero compassion zero follow up
I was injured during my first colonoscopy with this doctor. I've had 3 other colonoscopies from 2 providers in cities where I used to live) and never have I had any issues. The doctors own the gi center, and yet run it like a chaotic assembly line. I ended up with a precancerous growth removal at this colonoscopy. I had to go online to even find this out because NO ONE followed up in any way. I also had an injury caused by the procedure that caused me excruciating pain for months. When I reported this, I was told by an MA (bc the doctor DOES.NOT.CARE) that it 'must be a pre-existing condition'. On top of that, I was told (same call, which I initiated) that if I wanted a follow-up, it would be with someone besides the dr, presumably a nurse. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER....I wouldn't recommend this doctor or center to my worst enemy.

Competent
She knew I was nervous about my second colonoscopy and endoscopy as I’m only in my mid 30s. She wasn’t judgemental. She answered all questions and concerns via in person and messaging. She said we wanted a “boring” procedure and that’s what I got the second time. The first colonoscopy we found a polyp but it was not pre cancerous. Thank God. She is very reassuring and patient. These one star reviews are truly baffling and I would disregard them.

If you need Endoscopy and Colonoscopy together...
Dr. North and the entire staff - from arrival to departure - at Skyline were outstanding. Friendly, personable, and comforting in every way. Every step explained clearly. Results provided quickly. If you have to go through this, I highly recommend Dr. North and Skyline for your care.

Outstanding GI Dr
Dr North is proactive, not only in her field of specialty, but for your overall care plan. She certainly prevented me from a potentially bad situation down the road by all she did for me at my appointment and follow up afterwards. She reviews charts, is communicative with follow-up post procedure, both with charts and phone calls and she made sure key concerns outside my GI issues were timely communicated to my PC plus basically "made sure" I got the help I needed with another specialist and general surgeon. This Dr. truly did the work of 3 drs, her field, my PC and the next specialist I needed to see. Thank you Dr. North. I finally have a GI Dr. I can trust will take care of me.

More than one bad experience
I am always cautious to leave a review, knowing that I would want someone to do the same for me in my profession... Unfortunately my experience with Dr North has been negative two times now and I am moving on elsewhere. In my first interaction, she came off as judgemental and was short, rude, and insensitive. I was shocked and gave her the benefit of the doubt.... we all have bad days. She had her bad day as I was getting a procedure done. I went home devastated by her treatment. Here we are again, and I am still having issues. She has not had the time or patience to listen to my medical history. My issues are serious, yet I am being told they are not urgent. The kind of care I have been receiving by her and her staff are inexcusable.

Dr. North basically saved my life. Not only did she do her job, she went above and beyond and was concerned with my entire health plan, not just her area. She is researched based and VERY informed about the latest research in her area of specialization. I would recommend her to anyone that needed help!!!

In no reality can I imagine a pt. coming away from care by Dr. North and giving a 1 star rating. Dr. North was my moms MD during her last months of life, giving her the most sensitive, caring, & excellent medical care in her final days with AML. Mom told me that she met Dr. North at this time because she was to be her Angel at this point in her life. Our family was so grateful for her care. Moms birthday is in 2 wks. We always include our thanks to Dr. North in our b-day toast to Mom.

If I could give a zero I would. Dr. North's professional behavior is impatient without compassion for people. Dr. North was unwilling to listen to full medical history background before making her own assumptions to medical diagnosis even before patient exam. This was the WORST bedside manner behavior I have yet to experience in a doctor and makes me question her mental health ability in how she conducts her behavior towards people. She needs to be reported to Board of Directors and investigated
