Dr. Crystal Smedley, DO

Office does not return calls despite the urgency of needs. Dr was suppose to refer me to infectious disease doc and never did...had to have primary Dr do it. Smedley never examined me dispute I have a prolapsed bladder. Last visit dipite having an active UTI said I'll see you in a year. Took my records and found a doctor with better ratings and willing to see me within a week.

Was given a referral from ED physician for an urgent post op problem. The staff was resistant to making an appointment. They misplaced the copies of my medical records provided by me to them. I made numerous calls to the office who promised a timely return call with updates. Never heard from them.

I visited Dr. Smedley this week and I find her to be friendly, professional, intelligent and willing to discuss my recent experience. She was very efficient in communicating to my wife and I which is somewhat lost in todays world. I have found a new Urologist in Dr. Smedley. Lastly, I prefer not to do reviews since everyone who writes a review base their comments on a particular day which I am also doing also but I know people make quick decisions before getting to know the Doctor.

This is my second time seeing Dr Smedley. She's nice and pleasant, but asks few if any questions and for an annual urological exam she never even physically examined my genitals. For my ED all she could do was recommend more medications. When I requested a doppler ultrasound to see if I had arterial plaques, she said she could order this test. Her office manager then arranged an appointment with a radiologist in the next town. I went all of the way there only to find out they contacted the doctor’s office to inform them they couldn't do this type of test there. I was never was informed of this. A complete waste of my morning! Time for me to find another urologist.

True professional. Intelligent, knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and easy to talk to (important for me). I can't imagine anyone better....

Had a medical emergency and was told to follow up with my urologist, several calls and two visits to her office and 96 hours later ended up back in the er due to no response to my calls and messages

I am 66 years old and have never in my entire life met a doctor as nice, friendly, varing and informative as Dr. Smedley. Even when she introduced herself, she stated her name slowly and clearly. She faced me directly and talked directly to me the whole visit. She was reassuring and most informative about why I was there, what they found, what that means, what they were looking for, and what would have been the next step had they found anything. She informed me every step of the way, showed me my CT scan and pointed everything out on the imaging. She even gave me a copy of my report. If I ever had any urologic problems in the future, I will definitely be returning. I've never met a better doctor. Thank you Dr. Smedley.
