Dr. Crysten Cheatwood, DO

I established care with Dr. Cheatwood when I experienced my first miscarriage. She has since delivered two of my babies and treated other non pregnancy related issues with knowledge, compassion, and a true understanding for me as the patient. She also was my best advocate in the hospital on two separate occasions, assuring I received the best care! She is the best!

I've been a patient of Dr. Cheatwoods for a few years now. She is very thorough and very kind. She will listen to your concerns and talk through all options. She discovered a large ovarian cyst in March of this year and performed surgery quickly to relieve my pain and remove the cyst. She was incredibly reassuring and clearly explained what was going on as well as what the procedure and recovery would entail. She is absolutely amazing. Nurse Angie is equally amazing and also deserves all the credit. Nurse Angie has never left me waiting long for a callback or an online message response. The front office staff is friendly enough--- never had any issues with them.

Dr. Cheatwood is the absolute best! She truly listened and treated me as though she had all the time to answer all of my questions. After a successful procedure and a couple changes in medications, I felt like a new women! Nurse Angie is amazing too! You won’t be disappointed with Dr. Cheatwood she is highly technical, thorough and kind.

Dr. Cheatwood provided prenatal care and delivered my baby. I had such a wonderful experience. She always takes time to answer questions. She allowed me to make informed decisions about birthing in the hospital, where I ultimately had an uncomplicated vaginal delivery and healed faster than I ever expected. We were so happy with our experience that my sister is now using her for a high risk pregnancy!! Can’t recommend her enough!

I have been a patient of Dr Cheatwood for several years, she has proven herself to be a professional as well as someone with whom you can feel comfort, that is not an easy combination to perfect. I consistently recommend her practice to my friends and loved ones as I trust they will also have a wonderful experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cheatwood since she began her practice in OKC. Not only has she greatly improved my quality of life with her ability to diagnose and then effectively treat the problem but she has also treated numerous friends and family members as well. We love her nurse too!

I went to Dr. Cheatwood for several years and never had any issues. I had to have a hysterectomy last year and afterwards she treated me like I was a hypochondriac and that nothing I was going through was due to the surgery. I went to a new Dr. and have found out that I now have nerve damage in my stomach from the hysterectomy and other issues due to the surgery. I'm not sure why Dr. Cheatwood changed how she treated me after my surgery but she did. I hope no one else has had to go through what I have after having her do their hysterectomy.

Everything from setting the appointment to visiting and communicating with her nurse and Dr. Cheatwood, herself, was easy. She is up to date, extremely personable and identified my problem - when several other physicians couldn’t - immediately. It’s been a week and the difference is so noticeable. She’s my regular GYN now.
