Very personalized care
Dr. Nguyen always spends enough time to hear my concerns and discuss treatment options. She discusses healthy choices I could make in addition to or in lieu of medical procedures. She is knowledgeable and competent. I highly recommend her.

Accessible and knowledgeable
Dr. Nguyen and her office responded quickly when my father was sick. They often scheduled appointments with both parents to make the caregiver’s job easier. I appreciated how she listened to concerns and explained our options

I was a patient of Dr. Nguyen for about 15 years. I am otherwise healthy and so I don't see a doctor that often. I called today because I need to be seen by a doctor (102 fever) and was advised that because I hadn't been seen there for 3 years, I had been discharged (without notice), would be considered a new patient, and she is not taking new patients. No referral, no inquiry as to my health and whether this was an emergency or not. I see the most recent reviews are all 1 star. Well deserved.

I have been Dr. Nguyen's patient for maybe 15 years now, and I've had enough. My typical appointment with her is always rushed, she doesn't seem to listen to what I'm trying to explain, always has a rushed explanation about everything, like she needs to get on with her next patient to exceed her quota. But the final straw was her response to my current severe gout attack, now in Day 6 on crutches in extreme pain, affecting three separate joints (very unusual). I called her yesterday for help since when I had my last gout attack two weeks ago, she could not see me for fully six WEEKS later, and that was to be just a ZOOM call. She shines on the dosage of the meds she prescribes, despite me telling her I doubled the dosage of my Rx, and simply orders another round at the same ineffective dosage, telling me "Try this for a while (the same drug I've been taking for months), and we'll get a blood test down the road to check your uric acid levels." Down the road??? How 'bout NOW?

Very poor bedside manners and poor assessment skills. She rushes you. Doesn’t do proper physical exam and doesn’t obtain full history. She will cut you off in the middle of the sentence. I had a musculoskeletal program and I had to insist multiple times to get an order for X-ray and physical therapy then she did. Besides that she didn’t even prescribe me a volataren gel for pain. I regret that I had to waste my time to see someone that doesn’t care and has poor skills.

Dr. Nguyen was rude when I met her. She didn’t like the meds that where listed in the pharmacy so she started criticizing me and that my meds are red flag. After she read out loud criticizing that I had Norcro listed then I told her that I was on it for 4 days 4 months ago for acute issue after ER visit. I asked her for a different med to refill that I used to be on for ADHD and SHE said that nobody wants to refill for my meds and she won’t too. She was my primary so I asked her as first person.

Dr. Nguyen has a very straightforward and authentic style. She is incredibly smart which is obvious from the minute we started discussing some of my health concers. She listened to me and I felt like she really heard what I was saying. She has a calming presence and very trustworthy. I highly recommend her.
