Shame on this doctor!
My GP knew Dr. Qiu and thought she was a good choice based upon preliminary tests and what she places on her website as specialties. When making an appointment the scheduler will go through a series of questions while looking up your information on 'My Chart'. If your appointment is about treating symptoms then fine. But, if you need a diagnosis to find a root cause you will be screened out by being told the next possible appointment is more than six months out. Dr. Qiu knows a doctor referral has some urgency and delay can be life-threatening. Shame on her!!!

Not impressed
My initial visit was fine she prescribed me some medication for my headaches and they do help for the most part. The problem was when my insurance required 90 day refill after initial prescription the pharmacy tried contacting doctors office to get the approval and never got a response so then I tried contacting the office and left several messages with the service and still no response and by this time I have been almost a week without the medication so then I went to the patient portal site and sent a message through that way and she answered within 24 hours through the portal site but know I am getting a bill for 110.00 for using the website to communicate with the doctor I have tried to dispute it, but it is not working.

I don’t think she deserves the title of doctor. When my spinal cord swelled I had to wait for a neurologist appointment for 2.5 months. At that appointment he ordered a spine mri. Results came back normal. Why? Because it was 2.5 months since my spinal cord swelled the first time, and I was taking STEROIDS and antibiotics during that time to reduce symptoms. So of course the results came back normal. This idiot lady told me it is possible, but she still wouldn’t do the tests I needed. When she touched my feet and I jumped and yelped because of the nerve dysfunction, she said I was just ticklish. My whole body has tremors and I shake all the time without my Neupro patch (for Parkinson’s), but to this lady, I was just nervous. Apparently I don’t have nerve pain, I am “young” and young people have hyperactive reflexes. Those were her words. I don’t have space to finish my review. Look it up on google

Dr. Qiu is by far the best physician I have had the pleasure of knowing. She has the best bedside manner of any physician. She is knowledgeable, caring, friendly, attentive, listens and shows concerns to your needs and is very thorough. She takes as much time as she needs to address your concerns. She never makes you feel that you are just a number. Very professional.

I've seen Dr. Qiu and I will never go back. She doesn't value your time and I was waiting for her in the exam room over an hour each time, 2 hours the 2nd time, and this was after waiting in the waiting room for 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. The staff never did anything to make the situation better.

Dr. Qiu is a great doctor. However getting appointments can be difficult at times, sometimes having to book three months in advance. Office rarely returns calls. I have been told that prescriptions would refilled only to have them refused when pharmacy calls to refill. Front office is what is keeping me from giving a full 5 stars.
