Excellent surgeon & bedside manner
Dr. Crane performed very complex surgery for me (in Austin, TX) and did an excellent job. The care I received from him and his team was exceptional. Dr. Crane also has a great bedside manner. It was very easy to communicate with his office and I received lots of follow up after my surgery.

My experience with Dr. Crane was very good. I had facial feminization surgery with him and Dr. Andrew Trussler, and it went very well. The recovery was a bit rough and scary (though within what I expected after such a thing), but his staff were incredibly receptive and quick to respond to any of my questions or concerns. Having my questions quickly answered really helped me relax and feel better through the recovery process.

As a mother of a daughter that has transitioned I urge you to read this review on Dr. Crane. I have been nothing but supportive to my now son as he has transitioned and, we have met some great people along the way, Dr. Crane was not one of them. It has been years since this surgery and I am just now finding out about all the medical malpractice cases against this Surgeon. How does this happen, how is he still practicing. My son has endured hospital stay after hospital stay and we have had to advcocate for him because everything is, "No big deal," to Dr. Crane. His private parts GONE, "No Big deal all just part of the recovery." My son's arm is mutilated, his private parts don't work and it's of no concern to this surgeon. Now that I have researched I have found these cases and they all sound the same, "No big deal," is what Dr. Crane says over and over again. Well, Dr. Crane it is a big deal, it is a big deal that you are carrying around this "Renowed Phalloplasty Surgeon," title, it
