Dr. Cybele Pacheco, MD

I would rate her 0 stars if I could. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone and I will not be seeing her again. She was extremely condescending, dismissive of my concerns and essentially told me I was creating my health problems in my head. I have been seeing doctors at Geisinger for MONTHS and have undergone so many tests trying desperately to figure out the cause of my constant pain and discomfort. I haven’t been able to eat a full meal in weeks and my symptoms are disrupting every single day of my life. But after not even 3 minutes of talking to me she said I probably just have an anxiety disorder. Do not waste your time, see another doctor if you want them to take your health seriously.

I would not recommend this "doctor" to anyone. I stuck with her for a full year and a half ... in total disbelief that anyone billing themselves as a physician could be as arrogant and totally dismissive of my complaints as this person was. In desperation, near-suicidal pain and muscular contractions that allowed me no more than two hours of sleep per night, I finally went outside of the medical system that employs her and was promptly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (that went undiagnosed for at least a couple of decades). The first thing she did, as a "doctor", was to abruptly boot me off a mild tranquillizer that had been keeping my symptoms at bay over those years (20-25) without replacing it with any sort of muscle relaxant..told me I couldn't possibly suffer any pain or other discomfort that could not be adequately addressed with Dollar General's OTC offerings. I thank myself for seeking help beyond this person's professional indifference and haughty negligence. ZERO rating!

Being a headstrong patient I appreciate Dr. Pacheco's directness and ability to cut to the chase and address issues I am dealing with. I would highly recommend Dr. Pacheco to someone looking for a new Doctor. She is a caring physician who gets results. She was never in a hurry to leave the room and took the time to answer my many questions. I was a patient of hers at the Lewistown Geisinger facility and will follow her to Belleville.

Dr. Pacheco was very condescending. I will not go back to her. She did not even address some of my concerns and when I complained of should pain she simply replied that she wasn't surprised due to the work I do. She didn't recommend anything and now I am paying for a second second visit with some one else to address the problem. I was waiting for the Belleville office to get a female practitioner again but I will be going back in Lewistown until Belleville gets someone new.
