Awesome Doctor
Yes.. the wait is long. However, if I’m going to get the best healthcare and bedside manners I will just wait longer. Dr Cynthia Elliott is very thorough. She spends time with each patient to understand their needs. Make sure you pack your patience!

I have had such a bad experience with Dr. Elliott's office. I have been three times in as many months and have never seen the doctor. The first time, I waited, along with 15 other people, in the waiting room for 2.5 hours. i finally had to leave. The second time, I was told to come in so a nurse could show me how to do a self injection. They told me it would take 5 minutes. I sat in the lobby for 2.5 hours, yet again. They old called one person back during that time. I actually saw the other doctor come out and clean the waiting room, while patients were waiting for hours. Never saw the nurse and had to figure out how to give myself the injection on my own. The third time they had called and told me they could not refill any more medication until I saw the doctor. Got there at 2:30 for a 2:40 appointment. No receptionist at the desk for 15 minutes, then never checked the list or checked anyone in. Got called back after an hour, sat in the examining room until 5:15. Gave up.

Second visit to this office.. Appt was made for 11:30 am and was called back at 1 pm. I like Dr Elliott but she is overbooked. waiting room was full of people and more kept coming in. Was told New patients take 3 - 4 hr wait before seeing the doctor. Todays appt was at 10:30 and was seen at 12:15.. Unfortunately I will have to go to another practice.. I am a patient person, but this is pushing the limits.

While Dr. Elliott is a fabulous doc, the office is not well run. I am in the process of finding a new doctor because of that. I could deal with it when it was just my time and financial resources. the problem I am not willing to put up with is that over a period of 12 days they didn't respond to my pharmacy or myself to get my prescription resolved, been out of meds for 4 days now. This is unacceptable.

Explains things very well. She is very thorough in her examinations. I look at it like this: I can leave and continue on meds I don't need and cause me more harm than good OR have a wait in the waiting area and see her knowing she can make me better and not give up till she has it right. My son died in October of 2016. I had to cancel an appointment due to that. Dr Elliot took the time out of her evening to call me and check on me. I will wait however long in waiting area to be seen.

Dr Elliott has been my Rheumatologist for the past 12 years. I have joint pain due to Osteoarthritis. She works with my in every aspect of the disease, including my diet. I am able to control the condition with very few medications and diet. I have found so few doctors that care so much about the overall health of a patient.

I don't understand why I had to wait 45 minutes when there is no other patient except me. My appointment was at 3pm and i came in at 2:45pm, yet I wasn't called in until 4:30pm. They even called me early in the morning asking me to came in whenever possible since there was not appointment for today. Horrible horrible experience if you have chance try changing your doctor. Go to someone who is going to put you before themselves. The nurse are sitting around and talking, no one is in front.

Doc Elliott saved my life, prior to meeting my angel I experienced a rare case of A.S. While searching we found her listed with very high regard. I agree whole heartedly. I believe it's been about 3 straight years that I make monthly and quarterly visits and in that time the office environment has only improved from the Lab, X-ray techs, to the management staff that assists me with paperwork issues to the receptionist who always greats me with a warm smile. I highly recommend Dr. Elliott& staff

We waited three months for an appointment which was rescheduled a few days before due to the doctor not being available. She herself called us and rescheduled. As we entered the office waiting room it was dirty and smelly. Not a good first impression. We found out we were scheduled to see the other Doctor. We waited TWO hours in the exam room. We chose to leave. The staff never gave updates as to when we would be seen. Then I received robo calls about an appointment I did not make. Poorly run.

Unorganized, can't stay on schedule, operates an infusion center in office that randomly closes and turns away scheduled infusions. This is a family run operation that answers to no one. If the infusion nurse is out sick, forget it, you will be turned away. Many time I have sat in her office for hours after my appointment with no explaniation. In my opinion she does not care about the operations of her office, that is run by her sister. Due to that many people in serious need get no help.
