Dr. Cynthia Gray, MD

Dr. Gray's only a ¼ mile away. I was pregnant, due in winter, & my old ob was 40 mins. away. Only Dr. Gray was delivering at Trinity so I called to let them know I was pregnant & wanting to switch to her. They got me switched over, but had no interest in confirming pregnancy like my other ob always done. I kept letting them know about previous early miscarriages, my PCOS, & my low progesterone issue & kept asking about checking HCG. They finally checked HCG, but did nothing about progesterone. My old ob was on vacation so I couldn't see her. I ended up in the E.R. bleeding. When the E.R. staff contacted Dr. Gray's office, they said they'd get me right in for a follow-up. When I called, they wouldn't set up an appt. & said just wait to be seen at what was supposed to be my first appt. a couple weeks later. My old ob confirmed miscarriage. I called Dr. Gray to let them know & to cancel my appt. They continued to call about an appt. reminder although being told numerous times I miscarried

Dr Gray delivered my youngest son in 2002. During the process she made a suggestion to intervene and the head labor & delivery nurse asked her to wait a few more minutes to see if I could deliver without intervention as I’d had a traumatic labor experience with a different dr. previously. Dr Gray agreed and allowed me the chance to do it myself. 15 minutes later I was able to get him out on my own. Dr gray is calm, patient, and I appreciated her reassurance throughout my pregnancy and delivery

I decided to look up this OB/Gyne because I actually just wrote about her in my Dissertation acknowledgement. She delivered my baby in 1993. The care and genuineness of that experience made me want to go into the healthcare field. So here I am 27 years later, pursuing my Doctorial degree in Healthcare Administration because of this doctor. I am not sure if you are still practicing, but I just wanted to say thank you!
