Dr. Cynthia Justice, MD

I spoke to her on a message app. A MESSAGE APP. Not face to face and I could literally see what all the bad reviews were talking about. I get my concern probably wasn't "important" enough, but I'm still a person. I don't deserve to be brushed off because YOU don't think my concern is important. It's laughable that she's still able to have work. If you don't like people, don't be in a profession that requires compassion for people.

I’d describe her mood as consistently nasty. 9 years as my PCP. She is not thorough in her examinations. I get the impression she dislikes people. I experience horrible pain, nearing the level of suicidal pain. I’m terrified I might say or do something to anger her, and fear she’ll cut me off my meds. I have a perfect BMI, diet, exercise and don’t smoke. She disregards the 9health fair data, claiming it’s a waste of $. I avoid going in when I’m sick because It’s too stressful. Depressing!

I scheduled a conference call with Dr. Justice to go over recent blood work that resulted in a very concerning diagnosis. Dr. Justice did not call me, and instead sent a very impersonal email saying I needed to talk with my brand new doctor, who did not yet have my medical records, and so could not speak to my concerns. I was frightened and very upset, and for my long-time doctor to ignore my request for a brief conversation is shameful.

It’s unbelievable somebody with her experience can treat patients the way she does. She has the look of “why are you wasting my time with your petty sickness.” I asked her about some natural alternates to a specific medication and she told me that she doesn’t dispense hippie medication and I should go to Whole Foods if I want to speak to a child about some alternates. If I could give her zero stars I would.

Extremely condescending. Poor bedside manner. Didn't bother to review my information before seeing me. A patient should not feel judged for seeking a second opinion, EVER. I have never felt so uncomfortable or made to feel so insecure by anyone in my entire life. If you want a Primary Care Physician that actually cares about you as a human being, then I'd think twice about going to Cynthia Justice if I were you.

Not a friendly bedside manner.
