What a nightmare. I've been dealing with IBS and called here to make an appointment. I mentioned to the receptionist I had seen another Gastro (since they have a month 2 wait and who can wait that long??) and they weren't at all helpful (sexist old man who told me my symptoms wouldn't bother a man!). She then said that because I had seen someone else, they wouldn't see me for the rest of the year. What the hell kind of policy is that? Extremely rude and uncaring receptionist, she shouldn't be working in health care if she cares that little about helping suffering people. I hope she gets horribly sick and experiences zero sympathy so she can see what it's like. With all the other bad reviews, though I'm glad I didn't book an appointment with them! Can't speak to the doctor herself but stay away from this toxic place, they're just like every other crappy doctors office out there, no exception here! If you do HAVE TO see them for some reason DO NOT TELL THEM YOU'VE SEEN ANOTHER DOCTOR!

Dr. Mullen is an amazing physician. She always has listened to my concerns. I have been her patient since I was 18. I have an autoimmune disease and I have been experiencing GI symptoms for years. She ran all of the tests, even a colonoscopy and endoscopy (which was not too bad of an experience with her office). The first time around came back regular, but her office still scheduled a follow up every year since then. Two years later and I went for colonoscopy round two. Still awaiting results and her office has been so helpful. She is very available to her patients. I am very happy with her care plan and how she takes my previous conditions seriously, regardless of my young age.

The colonoscopy with her was one of the worst experiences of my life. Abrupt scheduling change, no communication or followup and extremely painful experience afterwards when i was rushed out to make space for next patient. Awful on all counts! I do not recommend her.

Dr. Mullen is the worst doctor you could ever ask for. My first appointment she told me that she wanted to do a colonoscopy and she expected to find something. If she didn't find anything, that meant I just had IBS which was an interesting comment. Fast forward to the colonoscopy and I had the procedure done and never heard anything back for 2 weeks. I was then told by the front staff that she found nothing and no follow up was needed. She also refuses to talk to any patient on the phone.

I chose Dr. Mullen because of all the 'high praise' on these reviewed sites. My brief care with her was absolutely atrocious. On our fist meeting she barely took the time to ask about my medical history. She asked few pertinent questions but barely took the time to get outside herself and really listen to what I had to say. She made recommendations based on her reality, not mine as an individual. Her approach is very egotistical. Devoid of a doctor-patient relationship.

Left message with her front office and never received a call back. Ended up calling office on a Sunday to talk to the Doctor on call and they took care of me. Prescribed antibiotics. Called Mullen's office on Monday to follow up and front desk showed no interest. Terrible offsite service.
