Annual wellness visit

Dr. Yarshen is very down to earth and actually takes the time and interest in getting to know a patient. I felt very comfortable talking with her and she was interested in hearing my views and thoughts.

Visits seem a little rushed. I understand that the healthcare system puts time limits on visits but patients also need to be heard and understood. I’m sure she feels like she has little time to cram it all in and it shows. Not sure that it’s her fault or the time restrictions or maybe a little of both. Either way, it needs to become about the patients again. We need to feel heard, understood, and feel as if our doctors are committed to our health and not just meeting the time slots put forth by insurance companies etc.

Dr. Yarshen is a great listener and takes the time to explain to you what needs to be done and gives a lot of suggestions! Super nice!!! Been going to her for years and refuse to change doctors even after I moved to Michigan!
