I was referred by my internist who has known Dr. CHEMPAVIL for many years… I trust my internist implicently. I found Dr. Chemplavil to listen & answer my questions & concerns. 3 tests were administered in his office & he went over the findings with me, prescribed some medication & a chest x-ray which I set-up. I felt comfortable with the Dr & I will continue seeing him as needed. His office staff is professional & friendly. I was checked in promptly & efficiently. Overall it was an excellent experience.

He was a second opinion for a terminal patient. He was unprepared for the appointment and had to call for test results that were sent over a week prior. He and his team aggressively schedule follow ups where he is uninformed He does not communicate with then primary doctor. Follow-up are not needed for second opinions. Be aware of this office.

He was my first Pulmologist when I was released from the hospital still in critical condition. He cares for his patients and I always looked forward to seeing him. When I was switched from Medicaid to Medicare I had to get a new Pulmologist and she spoke well of him

He has basically given me back some sort of life. I can't thank him enough and want to rave about him

He was rude, abrupt, short, no explanation of his diagnosis, no X-rays or ct scans shown. did not like my questions and could not answer them. I am seeking a 2nd opinion of another pulmonary dr and will not be returning to this dr again

First time he was cold, rushing, abrupt, rude. He interrupted me when I tried to speak. I gave him 2nd chance. He was a little better but just gave me vague diagnosis with nothing to help. Ordered no further tests and sent me home with inhaler. I went to a different pulmonologist whe did more extensive testing. (possible interstitial lung) This doc told me to immediately get off heart med amiodarone. I immed. started to get better. Will never see Dr. Chemplavil again.

I was being treated by Dr. Chemplavil for COPD. I am eligible for a lung transplant so I asked the doctor to submit a request for the operation to UCLA in California. No one ever got back in touch with me to inform me of any progress with my request. Eventually, I had to contact UCLA. I was told the request was never submitted. I reapplied, and once again I was directed to do all following up. I got the feeling the doctor's office showed little concern for my condition.
