My 91 yr old mother is here today for a simple mohs surgery. Appt was at 11:00 and it's now 3:30. She's been waiting to be stitched for 45 minutes in a room by herself. When I inquired how she was, I was given a curt answer that it takes time. This is not the 1st time she's spent 5 hrs here but it will be the last. Other patients are also experiencing the same thing, so I'm certainly now saying she's being si glad out due to her age.

What a wonderful, compassionate & caring dermatologist Dr. Carranza is. The staff is wonderful, as well. We got my mother established with her after we moved to Jackson from Fl mid-2019. I had my first appt. recently. We are very satisfied with her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

I have seen Dr Carranza 3 times . She did a surgical procedure on me. I guess I’m not understanding the feedback, I did not wait very long and she was very sweet, I was going through my sister dying and she even hugged my neck. She was very compassionate and kind.. she’s the only dermatologist that does a screening of the whole body that I’ve been to. The rest just look at a spot you came in for.

Had my first and last appointment today. I waited about 50 minutes and never even saw a nurse. All that after waiting two weeks for my appointment in the first place. I hope more people follow my example and take their medical needs somewhere else as the loss of income is the only thing that could change the arrogant behavior of doctors like her.

Dr. Carannza has a very abrupt, impersonal manner. She doesn't listen to what you have to say and will brush you off when you begin to try to tell her anything. She explains nothing. Patients are herded through like cattle. They apparently overbook, as waiting room is standing-room only and not large enough for anyone with a walker or wheelchair to maneuver about, much less find a spot to wait in if in a wheelchair; tiny waiting area in the back is even worse. Front desk staff is unprofessional

Took my daughter to her this morning and my 19 yr old and myself thought Dr. Carronza came across very RUDE! When she mentioned putting my daughter on acutane I had concerns about it and she was adamant about that was the only option although it did have a ton of side affects that could cause other serious problems. sge was rude and short with patients. No bed side manners at all. She is just looking for a pay check.

If you like being seen by a robot than I recommend this DR. She will not talk to you. She insists that her assistants do all of the talking. This DR has the worst bed side manner I have ever seen. Her office is run horribly. Be prepared to wait at least 1.5 hours for all appointments. Her office staff is rude and unknowlegable. Her surgical work was also unimpressive. I was left with a large ugly scar. Stay away! You won't regret it.
