NO WAY would I recommend Dr. Carter. (1) Impatient. Visibly upset if patient doesn't speak quickly, concisely, precisely. (2) Dislikes questions about her treatment plan for patient. (3) Rather impersonal and somewhat emotionally disconnected. (4) Billing issues. Incorrect and very delayed (by months) billing. (Maybe changed by now.) --- I was a patient for a few years -- too sick to find a new neurologist. I regret time wasted with Dr. Carter.

I have cluster headaches, and I was thrilled that Dr. Carter was not only informed about my condition, but had a treatment plan which offered concrete options. She spent time talking to me, discussing my symptoms and condition, and offering advice. She was friendly and helpful. The best experience I've had in treating my headaches in more than 15 years of seeking treatment.

She canceled my first visit after she got sick and it took me 9 months to see her finally. She then berated me for not completing her assigned labs along with all the other difficult testing I had already done after I finally saw her. Since then she's been condescending, distracted and just refers me on to other doctors for advice. She has yet to offer me any help with my disabling health concerns to date. One of the worst Drs I've ever had to beg for any kind of help from. You best keep looking!

There's many reasons we end up searching out a neurologist and want them to be knowledgeable, considerate and conscientious dr. This dr has on multiple occasions forgotten and confused my test results with other patient. She rudely verbally attacked me for disagreeing w/her. I wish those serious errors where the only poor words of conduct on her behalf I could recount but she's been completely unprofessional, seems burned out and will refer you on to other specialists for any actual care. Beware

I had an appointment with Dr. Carter today and when I arrived was told that the Dr. was out sick and could not see me. I am a new patient and have waited FIVE WEEKS for this appointment. I have been suffering with debilitating headaches and waited longer just to see Doctor Carter. I understand people get sick, but there were very little options in terms of rescheduling and I ended up walking away without and appointment or care. I am back at square one in trying to find help for headaches.

Dr. Carter was thorough in her effort to discover the cause of my migraines and used a very analytical approach to my treatment - which was effective! Her questions during the intake helped me to think about a lot of things that were relevant which I had not considered.
