Excellent physician with great bedside manner. Office very professional and efficient. Was seen promptly on all appointments! Underwent surgical procedure with excellent outcome. Would recommend this surgeon without any reservation or hesitation.

Dr Segal was very patient and allows you the time to ask questions and give concerns. He will do his best to put you at ease and give understanding. Dr Segal helped me greatly with re-doing a failed c-spine fusion of 3-4-5 that was performed originally by a different surgeon with Lee Health. I am 6 months out now from surgery and back to all activities for months now and getting stronger daily. His team is excellent as well, as Sarah (PA) is quite knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend Dr. Segal and his team confidently.

I am 36 years old and was extremely afraid of a neck surgery so young so I held off until I couldn’t anymore. Dr. Segal and his team were so good at explaining the procedure, bedside manner, professionalism, and making me feel comfortable with everything that I recommend them to anyone and everyone I speak to about neck issues. He was even open to listening to me when I asked questions about alternative options and he was able to explain to me the best options, again further making me more comfortable with choosing him. I am brand new and feel 100% better! My recovery time was fast and they got me back to work in weeks! Dr. Segal and his staff are the best in SWFL!

Extremely professional, extremely skilled all with incredible patience. Despite a 5 and a half hour procedure tolerable to minimal discomfort and able to resume normal activities quickly. Amazing experience and I would refer everyone I know having issues to see him.

Dr. Siegel is not only an excellent surgeon who has worked on my wife’s neck and has helped me too. He has something that most doctors don’t have, he actually listens to you and has patience when sitting down with you. He asked the right questions and his staff are pleasant as well. On December 1, 2022 Dr. Segal changed my life forever! During an 11 and a half hour surgery Dr. Segal straightened my lumbar thoracic scoliotic curve which was 55 degrees. From the time I met Dr. Segal till now, he has a superb bedside manner. Dr. Segal explained all of the details about my surgery. He patiently answered all of my questions. His PA, Sarah was awesome! Her kindness always make me feeling comfortable. Dr. Segal’s entire team always treated me wonderful. I give a 5 star rating, however, I would give this team a higher rating if I could. we were referred to Dr. Segal , by a dear friend of ours in Maryland. He is performing a two day lumbar spinal fusion with discectomy procedure on my husband.Day one happened yesterday and my husband did great day two happens today and my husband is going to do amazing!! Largely do to Dr Segal and his team of highly skilled professionals.This is a very large involved two day procedure, one that my husband has been putting off for many years , we are beyond grateful that this surgeon was put in our path to see him through. dr Segal goes the extra mile extremely professional, very caring, compassionate, And has a rating as one of the best surgeons in the country. his PA Sarah that works by his side is equally as compassionate. I highly recommend, that if you suffer from low back pain and it’s chronic and you are facing surgery. Dr Segal is a very conscientious physician. I was impressed with him sharing and explaining in great detail my MRI results and clearly explaining the problem, the process needed for correction, and recovery time. I left his office with a clear understanding of what needed to be done and that Dr. Segal was a superior surgeon and I was in the best hands possible. My procedure is now complete and I am completely satisfied. He is such a great Dr. he personally came on Saturday to check on me.

There is not enough space in this review to emphasize that I would not be alive today if it weren't for Dr. Dale Segal, Sarah his PA and Christy their team lead assistant. I had struggled daily since 2014 with migraines, neck, back, shoulder pain, and total left arm numbness. I tried several turn and burn doctors that excruciatingly stuck needles and steroids into my spine on several occasions with temporary relief, I tried Physical Therapy 4 times at 4 different places, I worked out at the gym regularly, I bought all the special back equipment and posture things, the stand up desk, the bed with the platform that can elevate your legs and feet, 16 different kinds of pillows -when I say I tried to help myself and avoid surgery - I did. I was at my wits end and my last hope when I met with Dr. Segal (ask him -I cried at every appt from relief and fear). Relief that I found a doctor that believed me and wanted to help fix me and fear (naturally) from a spine surgery. The surgery itself was a piece of cake. I am still just a bit more than a month out with recovering and I'm still wearing my special neck brace to keep me from turning my head. But the reason for the soon review *and I can update later* is that - the back pain was a 10/10 on a good day, now on my worst day already it's only a 3/10. Christy answered every one of my calls and questions, I called so often she knew my number by heart (I'm pathetic I know). At my pre-op appt with Dr. Segal he pulled up a chair and spent more than an hour with me answering every one of my 4 pages of questions. Sarah was just as patient with me and came to check in on me twice while I stayed overnight in the hospital (I requested). If you're having any back issues stop waiting and call them to make an appt and take care of yourself. I was so scared of surgery I kept putting it off and trying another way, more injections, more PT and for nothing but suffering. Get the relief now while you can, as soon as you can. I am beyond grateful and will tell the world how wonderful and helpful Dr. Segal AND his team are.
