STOP PUTTING OFF YOUR COLONOSCOPY!!!
I put off getting my colonoscopy for FIVE YEARS after a positive test from Colo guard. I put it off because I am scared to death of being sedated and that I will not wake up. I know its silly however, the fear has always been real to me. My wife's father was diagnosed with Colon cancer so they advised her to get her first colonoscopy so I was her designated driver. After the procedure I met with Dr. Thomae who sat down with me and discussed getting me in for one. He first advised that I can be perfectly awake during the process and they will only do what makes ME comfortable. Yesterday was my procedure and it went FAR BETTER than I expected. They were amazingly fast and I felt MINIMAL discomfort. To ANYONE who is putting this off like I did for FIVE YEARS...now is your time to get this done. Dr. Thomae was AMAZING and is extremely down to earth. Hard to find a doctor that will take a half hour of his time just to discuss your health BEFORE you schedule the procedure. MAKE TH

I had an endoscopy performed by Dr. Thomae and his staff and was very pleased. I did not feel rushed and they really helped me with calming my anxiety by talking to me before the procedure even began. I would recommend his office to anyone wanting answers about their health. He is the only doctor that has even remotely listened to my symptoms. I will continue seeing him and being treated by him. Super friendly staff members as well. Could not thank you guys enough for the great way I was treated. Thank you so much.

Nice guy but doesn’t listen very well. Told my wife she had to live with her condition, I almost lost her 2 weeks later. She just got out of surgery today where the surgeon just shook his head. She had about a foot of bowel cut out that was completely solid, happened over a period of years where she told Thomae and he would just grin like it was all in her head. Totally unacceptable! If there was a way to send him the bill I would. Be very cautious with this guy!

My husband had a colonoscopy yesterday and I can't say enough about the attention and care provided by Dr Thomae and his staff. They made an uncomfortable procedure a pleasant (as much as it can be) experience. We would recommend Dr Thomae's office. Thank you!
