I love Dr. Wallington. He is one of the kindest and helpful doctors I have had. He truly works with me on maintaining my mental health and is always available when needed. He's really been so very helpful in my mental health journey. He even speaks with my therapist after our sessions so that she can be aware of what's going on.

Over prescribes
My partner is unstable because of his over prescribing! He’s on an extremely high dose of benzos and now he put him on a high dose of stimulants because he said he was tired!!! When he should be treating him for bipolar! Never even had an evaluation of adhd done!! He belongs in jail and I’m about to report him to the medical board! Mixing those 2 drugs is insane and dangerous! Ever since the stimulant was added I literally have friends and family doing wellness checks on me because they are in fear for my situation. This dr is careless.

I recently had an initial telehealth appointment with Dr. Wallington. He immediately made me feel at ease, is extremely thorough, understanding and knowledgeable. I’ve had four previous psychiatrists and was impressed how easy he is to connect with and his genuine care and concern for patients is undeniable. Also, he was able to call in a script for me on a SATURDAY evening... this was refreshing as my experience with former psychiatrists sometimes felt like a constant game of phone tag. I truly feel grateful and relieved that I am now seeing Dr. Wallington.

I went to Dr. Wallington from around 2010 to 2015. He correctly diagnosed me with ADHD and wrote the prescription for medication that helped me get my life back in order. For those things, I’ll be forever grateful. However, he had me on a much higher dose than I should’ve been on. My current doctor was very surprised that I took that large a dosage, especially for that long of a time. My father and uncle had the same experience of Dr. Wallington overdosing them. Careful with dosage he gives out

Dr. Wallington is a wonderful doctor, who cares about his patients and goes the extra mile to make sure they get good care. Dr. Wallington drove me to the Hartford hospital emergency room to make sure I was hospitalized at the IOL as opposed to using an ambulance (from his office) to UCONN medical center. He is amazingly smart and keeps up to date on new medications and other treatments to mental illness. He has always treated me with respect and kindness. I owe him my life.

Dr. Wallington is the consummate psychiatric professional. He is a brilliant practitioner who is also down to earth and unbelievably supportive; going to great lengths to care for his patients. As far as I'm concerned, he sets the bar for psychiatric providers in Greater Hartford! This review is given with much gratitude.

EXPERIENCES - Have been a patient for many years He has been very successful at treating my depression and has been highly helpful in assisting me to work with ADD. To add to this, over the past 21 months, we have been facing a grim diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer, stage IV-B. He has been incredibly supportive, helpful, and thoughtful throughout this time. He has become a definite ally as we work through this latest adventure. He gets a 10 out of ten rating on my "WOW**" scale. **WALKS ON WATER
