I went to Dr. Richardson for multiple fractures in my foot and he took a completely unnecessary route for my care. He saw me the first time and ordered a CT which was helpful, but then after he received the results he decided that I needed surgery on a joint that was not damaged or problematic at all. He was very vague when telling me about the surgical plan and was going to do surgery that I did not need at all. I saw a different doctor at OrthoArizona for a second opinion and was told that Dr. Richardson's surgical plan for me was completely unnecessary and would not help me at all. I now don't need surgery at all, and Dr. Richardson's surgery would've probably caused me more harm than good. He is also very vague, does not explain your injury well, is not thorough with his patients, and all he wants is to do complicated surgery for no medical reason.

Went to Mr. Richardson for an achilles tendon rupture repair. He did not order an MRI for any body part (go figure). My stitches are crooked, he forgot to give me the script for my physical therapy thus beginning my PT 3 weeks late, and he consistently keeps me waiting for long periods of time in his office spanning from 30 to 50 minutes before seeing me for my SCHEDULED appointment time. His office staff looks miserable, which is the last thing sick and injured people want to see. Might be good for patients around 85 years old, but if you're around 30 years old give or take 10 years...do your research.

Dr. Richardson diagnosed a stress fracture that two other medical facilities missed. He was extremely thorough and very warm. Highly recommend.
